Anderson Country Inn — Hotel in Anderson

Nice cozy place! It is a little on the expensive side if you get the bigger cottages and stay there for awhile, but you really have everything. Electric, heat, AC, cable tv, bed, fridge, trash pick up, laundry, microwave, blankets and pillows are provided, toilet, sink, shower. Wi-Fi is a little touch and go. Leslie is great and very friendly. For those that think this is a trashy bed bug infested place, I have personally witnessed how she cleans the cottages and she is VERY thorough. I've been here for almost 3 months and not had a problem with bed bugs. Mice aren't really an issue either because she has remedies for that plus there are feral cats hanging around mouse hunting. Leslie nor the maintenance do not come into the cottages when you are not there. They knock on the door and announce themselves. Yes you have to pay for laundry but that is their electricity you are using. There are issues with some of the other tenants but you will most likely get that at other places you go, best thing to do is keep to yourself. This place serves it's purpose for a place to stay, it's basically the same as an efficiency apartment with utilities provided. As much as Leslie does, I don't think it's fair to expect her to come change the bedding that is provided for you when you arrive or do your house keeping. If you want clean linen, bring your own and/or wash what you're given. This isn't the Hilton or any 5 star motel with everything provided including housekeeping. Take care of the cottage you rent, keep it clean, pay your rent on time, mind your own business, be thankful you have a roof over your head and you won't have issues. Oh, and for those that think this is a drug place, maybe if people would stop doing drugs and bringing that trash here, this place wouldn't have that reputation. When me and my boyfriend first got there it was nasty the cabin smell like cat piss it was not clean there was trash in there there was dirty sheets on the bed there was cat poop all on the side of the bed on the floor under the beds the bathroom was not cleaned at all the toilet was not cleaned at all not to mention they nailed the windows shut and then do multiple coats of paint just to make it look like something was done when it wasn't it is a fire hazard when you can't even open a window we were there for some time very disappointed there was a mix up with the payment because of someone else getting involved but regardless we still paid we asked for a carpet cleaner finally got one it was so disgusting with the floor that the water was literally black every time we emptied it and we cleaned it more than 5 times in 1 day our AC was broke for over a week they didnt fix it all they did was give a small little baby window AC that didn't even keep that room cold even though we had 2 kids me being pregnant and a dog they have locked us out even when we made almost an entire payment and the guy said make something we made almost that whole weekly payment and they still locked us out for 2 days they are rude they do not communicate I had something that was going there because of my son's school and they keep telling me that it was not there they never received it even though they stole my mail I have called multiple times and they told me that it had went there with my son's name on it and they once again keep denying it they will steal from you they like to get rude and our AC unit was so far gapped from the wall I have pictures If I could rate this a 0 star I would but I can't so I have to give it a one do not recommend this place for anybody or anybody that is pregnant or has animals or kids don't recommend it at all oh and the...

slum, this place is trash, gross, they never clean rooms, they charge $2 for roll of toilet paper, they never change the sheets, water from sink and shower is disgusting, smells like rotten eggs and had a thick white cloudyness to it, even my dog wouldn't drink it.place is just gross! Manager is a thief, they go into your room when you are gone and go through your property as if its theirs! stay away from this place, The DOC has a contract with the place to send parolies and convicted sex offenders and child molesters here when they are released from prison!
