This hotel was wonderful! I came here two weeks ago to go to Salem, MA, and I am so glad we chose to stay here. The check in is easy, there is plenty of parking, and the location is right off the I93. There is a gas station near by, Chili's , an Italian Restaurant on both sides of the highways. The rooms are modern, spacious, super clean and well priced. When we noticed our room was not stocked with any handsoap, we were able to get some from the front desk. This hotel also has a fully stocked kitchen with a stove, sink, dishwasher, fridge with ice, and a dining table. They also had a really nice samsung flatscreen tv with cable, unfortunately they didnt have any apps like netflix,I hope that can be an option some day. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, some of the best sleep I have gotten in a long time. I did appreciate the breakfast being included. They had pancakes, pastries, eggs, sausages, fruits, yogurts, coffee and tea you can take to go along with OJ. They do breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 and also sell snacks in the lobby for purchase. Even though we came here in the fall, this place looks great for the summer with an outdoor pool, grills, fireplace and lawn games. They also have a nice fitness center. If you have kids you can play board games or watch sports games in the lobbies, they have lots of seating and tables. Only con about this place is the elevator takes a while, for a hotel this large they should invest in a...
Read moreI had to spend 8 weeks there after flooding and I am really pleased with my choice. The negatives I have are small. Some of the water fixtures were flimsy and a bit finicky. The 2 top stove was very slow. Quality microwave and generous sized dishwasher and fridge. The kitchenette was well kitted with most things you would need to cook, dishes, a saucepan and a frying pan. The sheets could have been softer but the bed itself (and the pillows) were great.
Breakfast was okay. Hot oatmeal with tons of mix ins was my go to. The eggs etc were okay but the "taco mix" got a bit boring. There were muffins and toastables and a rather nifty pancake machine. The coffee was okay but I brought my own coffee.
As a dog owner I was thrilled. I was able to get a 1st floor room near 2 exits for easy walking. There are frequent exits so you are always near one. 99% of other dogs were well picked up after and the owners were great at communicating so avoiding situations was very easy. Most of the surrounding office buildings were very comfortable with dogs being walked on property and there are a ton of green spaces but lots of hills. There was even dog art in the room!
The staff was amazing, Rebecca and Cara in particular. When my "4 week" stay kept getting extended they were wonderful. Everyone was super sweet with my nervous dog and always offered cookies.
I would definitely stay there again of...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel with my 9yr old grandson. We were displaced from our apartment and until we found our new place to live one month turned into 3 months. Even the sales and marketing manager gave us a decent price on our room it became very expensive. I did explain that I receive my pension and disability at certain times of the month. With that being said the assistant manager Nancy Figueroa tried very hard to work with me. Which was difficult on both sides. But then came Katrina Belechova the General Manager. She worked with me until it became difficult to pay. I would have to wait until my next paycheck. Sadly she said she could no longer accommodate us and we would have to vacate. We had no where to go! She then called the APD to make us leave. I understand the hotel has to make money but there should be programs in ES hotels for people as myself. When a friend donated his reward points and another one helped financially we were I was accused of solicitation to other guests by Ms. Belechova. She was a tyrant, showed no compassion whatsoever and decided to vacate us by the APD again. Finally ended when I had to seek legal counsel. I was a great guest/ Tennant in a very difficult situation. But these corporate hotels only think about...
