I drove almost two hours just to come to this place and it was raining and the reason why I decided to come was because this Fair here is going on whether it Rains or Shines.⚜️

These Fairgrounds I have been going to since I as a child. Then when I turned 16 my cousin took me to Mountain Aire.That was a fun venue to go to concerts in the 80s.I would go every year after that until they stopped having it. They had several bands playing its was all day in the sun but it worth it. The 🐸 frog jumping contest is alot of fun.I was at the Fairgrounds last weekend for a Gem and Mineral show it happens the 3rd weekend of March each year. A great experience. I specifically went for the Frog Jumping Finals. There was a huge crowd so you definitely want to get there at least an hour early. This competition is always on the third Sunday in May at 3:00 PM. There is plenty of parking but May have a considerable walk to the venue. Comfortable shoes, sunblock and a hat are a must. Try to sit near the center of the stands. The event is about two hours long. Each frog has 1 minute and the first three jumps are measured.
