All Hallows Faire — Local services in Angels Camp

I go to this event every year and it's become my favorite Halloween tradition. Amazing music and one of the biggest costume contests in the state. Lots of awesome vendors and Amazing fire show. It is a old traditional celebration of all hallows eve and the end of harvest season. It's a bit pricey but the money does go to charity and helps pay the wonderful talents and bands that perform for the guests. Calaveras County fair grounds is a great place for an event like this. I would rather help a small group like these than pay hundreds of thousands to big companies like Disney anyday. If you like renaissance fairs and Halloween it is a perfect blend of both worlds. Took my husband, mom and kiddos to the 2024 festival and we had SO much fun! We saw a juggling show, the kids entered (and won!) a kids costume contest, we saw a live band, the kids shot stuffed animals out of cannons and we saw Captain Jack Sparrow (and met a bunch of other cool pirates!) People really go all out on their costumes, and the set up is so unique and cool to explore. The people who run the event are so nice and really go all out to make it special. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Attended today and it was a complete waste of money. Entire event sucked as well as food. $20 a person and $ 10 for children plus $7 parking. $67 for a family of 4 to get in! There was more people working at the event than there was attendees. Bought $15 nachos that had a sad amount of cheese. Will not return. Absolutely disappointed and do no recommend.
