I thought my husband and I would have a great experience, but it definitely fell short. The iron given in the room had some sticky residue that ended up damaging a top I was going to wear for a graduation. When I let the front desk know, they handed us another iron. The ironing board is a cheap setup. Definitely expected more than a cloth over metal, it doesn't even stay on. I understand saving money, but this was quite ridiculous Pictures included. The room was clean. Breakfast is not a wow, but it isnt bad either. The ladies were very nice and we went out of our way to say thank you and show appreciation. The next day, before leaving our room, we removed the do not disturb sign from our door so that it would be serviced. We left at 10 am. We returned at 3:00 pm. Our room was not tended to. I called front desk, the woman stated there was still a housekeeper finishing up on our floor, so once again we left. Its is now 11 pm and I had to talk to front desk, because the room was never tended to. Expectations were set and never met and that is bad customer service. My husband called front desk to inquire why our room was not serviced. The gentleman stated the do not disturb sign was on, we corrected him as to when it was removed and then he said well they probably just forgot. Umm.....ok, well if they forgot, then they didnt do their job in refreshing the room as it should be. We didnt have towels. So he suggested that he pick up our room and being towels, but it wasnt necessary and that wasnt the point, but yes bring towels. When I talked with front desk in person as he delivered the towels about our experience with our stay, he was friendly and I wasn't angry or rude because there is no need for that, BUT feedback was definitely due. It's not personal, but I would not stay here again. If we are paying a significant price, but not taken care of, it's a well deserved 2 out of 5, but because the gentleman was empathetic, I rate it 3. He mentioned if we booked through 3rd party, they cant do anything for us or give any compensation. While that could be true, its unfortunate. Regardless how the room is booked, you pay to get treated with excellent service, that is how business functions. If a customer pays with an expectation for excellent service and in return is getting bad service, they should be compensated somehow for wasting time and money. 160 a night is not worth it. Overall, glad to be leaving tomorrow morning. I will most likely find a more suitable hotel that strives of customer value with expectations met.

The room and hotel itself was absolutely amazing. The accommodations with the pool was not okay. We read the signs between the lobby and the pool that read "slippery when wet", but there are not signs about the pool bathroom. The pool bathroom uses tile on the floor. This is exceptionally slippery when wet. The bathroom is 8-10 feet deep from the door to the toilet without safety railing, except next to the toilet at the opposite end. My wife is a disabled person(with a cane), and when she got out of the pool and needed bathroom duties, she slipped and struggled just to go to the bathroom. That's not okay especially since it's a handicapped bathroom. It shouldn't be a slick surface when the rest of the pool isn't. Contact me privately to resolve the issue before we make it aware that your accommodations are unsafe for the people that can really benefit from the accommodations provided in the hotel stay.

This is one of our favorite hotels we've ever stayed at. This was our third time here and it seems to just keep getting better and better. The breakfast here is hands down the best hotel breakfast you'll ever have that is included with your stay. Tracy goes above and beyond in the breakfast area. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and she made us incredible French toast and banana pancakes! The only thing I wish this hotel had was an outdoor pool. We're always here in the summer and it would be nice to be outside to swim. Especially because there aren't trees that would be in the way.

We booked this place since we couldn't find a hotel in Urbana/Champaign area during the busy college reopening week. Stayed here for four nights.

We were surprised to find such a well-managed hotel in a small town like Arcola. It's a new construction with a huge parking lot, very close to the interstate 57 but very quiet. The facility is surrounded by corn fields and there are not many businesses nearby. The town is on the other side of the freeway, but very nearby.

The staff is very friendly. Rooms are very clean and we liked their green focus. Lots of option for breakfast and we saw that they waited for customers to finish before clearing the items, though it was past 10 AM, the official end time.

The only issue we had was that they didn't do the room one day and when asked they said they were short of staff. Not a big deal.

There is a small pond nearby and we saw some people fishing there. The town is very nice and has some nice restaurants. We took country roads to Urbana and enjoyed the greenery and...

I did like the room size, bed was just ok, was supposed to be two queen beds but no way they are queen because I own a queen and these are smaller more like full size beds. Pillows not too comfy and smelled.|Microwave on the outside was dirty, lamps and lamp shades were dirty, they didn't clean a piece of old popcorn from the carpet in front of bed, I also saw under the sofa an old red piece of fruit loop and old mini candy bar so obviously housekeeping did not do a thorough cleaning in this room before we checked in. Some stains on rugs inside the suite room we had. When you walk down the stairs from the 2nd to the first on the side entrance inside walls had spider webs and spider with dead bugs. Don't know why that was left uncleaned all you had to do was look up. So obviously their bug/pest control issues weren't on their list of things they need to prioritize for the guests. Yes I took pictures.Lady at front desk didn't smile once, so not a very welcoming arrival at this business. Breakfast was just ok...
