Ridgemont Motel — Hotel in Armstrong Township

Let me say this: The Ridgemont Motel is not the Taj Mahal, but it's more than nice enough for me ..... and I am fussy!!! As as matter of fact, I recently stayed at a Wyndham Property near Charleston, SC last month, and comparatively this was extremely nicer. Remember, you get what you pay for. The owner of this property is one of the nicest persons who is a pleasure to meet. She is a hard working individual who will try her hardest to make your stay as nice as possible. I have stayed here on four occasions over the past several years and will continue to do so when needing to visit this area. It has been tough on many individuals over the past three years with this "Crazy-Covid-Crap", but even though this entire hospitality business has taken a huge hit, the Ridgemont has weathered the storm as well as possible and has managed to keep their rates almost the same as they were before the pandemic. There are many times that no one is in the office, but all you need to do is make a phone call and what you need done will be taken care of as soon as possible. Like I said, it's not the Taj Mahal ..... but you can be assured that if you have a request it will be taken...

We just got back from our 1st trip to the Little League World Series with our grandson and his best friend. Our stay at the Ridgemont was everything and more than we expected! The location with the baseball stadiums and the Little League Museum right out our door was fantastic!! The room was comfortable and fine for two grandparents and two young boys! The only issues we had were one small air conditioner malfunction and the water pressure in the shower was extremely low. The owner/manager was extremely nice and quick to respond to these incidents and did the best she could to remedy these. Thanks again Lin!! Oh, and the room rate was fine and was far far cheaper than those we looked at around the Williamsport area. If you are looking for the absolute most convenient location to stay for the Little League World Series, and aren't too fussy or expecting 5 star accommodations, this quaint little motel is perfect. We are planning on making this an annual trip with our grandson and family and will be contacting Lin again for our stay!...

Very rare for a "mom and pop" to get a 5 stars... very clean rooms, despite being close to the road (I was on the back side of the building) it was very quiet. Very secure, cameras and well lit. Internet was always great even in the evening, IPV4 and IPV6... The room I was in was recently remodeled with new carpet, paint, bath fixtures and even a nice border along the top of the ceiling. Nice balcony off the back for the rear rooms... really the best "mom and pop" I have stayed at in a long long time. The owner and housekeeping were nice, polite and chatted when I did and left me alone the rest of the time... in all a great experience. Picture is off the back balcony, would be pretty in...
