I feel compelled to write regarding this property in Williamsport, PA. To be blunt, this is not a hotel that the Wyndham brand should want its name associated with. The condition is not simply “dated”—it is run-down, filthy, and shockingly neglected.||From the moment we entered, it was clear this property is operating far below even the most basic standards of hospitality. The cleaning crew looked as though they had walked straight off the set of The Walking Dead—listless, disengaged, and giving no indication that cleanliness was a priority. Our bathtub had visible mildew, not only in the grout but embedded in the textured surface of the tub itself. The bathroom ceiling bore a large water stain with a light fixture awkwardly hanging out of place. Stains and splatters marked the walls throughout the room. The overall impression was one of decay and disregard.||The breakfast room was no better—like eating in a dimly lit, desolate cave. The bare minimum of food was available, and what little was set out looked unappealing. The tables were sticky, carelessly arranged, and there was no staff presence at all. It felt more like an afterthought than a space intended to serve paying guests.|Had we not been rushing to the ballpark—the reason for our trip—I would have documented more. Even so, I took photos of the worst issues and can provide them if needed.||We booked this hotel without checking reviews, a mistake I deeply regret. We paid $475.08 for a king “deluxe” room for two nights. The only thing “deluxe” about it was a loveseat I was frankly afraid to sit on. The experience felt more like a punishment than a stay in a branded hotel.||While I understand that Williamsport may not be a high-revenue market, outdated furnishings are one thing. Broken entrance windows, mildew, sticky tables, and filthy rooms are another. These are not matters of low income—they are matters of neglect. The overwhelming smell of marijuana in the lobby only compounded the sense of indifference, especially given that recreational marijuana is not legal in Pennsylvania and the hotel was full of families attending the Little League World Series.||I'm even further bothered that, given the large international audience that travels to the Little League World Series, this hotel is a poor reflection of our country. I was embarrassed that international visitors were met with this kind of property as an example of American hospitality.||We stayed only because our payment was nonrefundable and our purpose was to see the last four games of the Series. As seasoned travelers and prior service members, we endured it. But it is evident that this property looks the way it does because no one there sees any reason to maintain it better.||I urged Wyndham to take immediate action regarding this location. This hotel undermines the reputation of the Wyndham brand and delivers an experience that is, frankly, disgraceful. They offered me no recourse outside of “letting the location...

"Manager" from property tried calling when I was on with the 800 number. Left message again stating they did not over charge and never asking to look into this. This is not my first time staying at a hotel (I've also worked for one), so very familiar with policies. The $100 incidental fee showed pending and fell off day 5. The $179.30 still remains and cleared my bank account. The "manager" from the site hung up on me when I told him to email me my receipt and I'll forward my bank statement. Not sure where we think the miscommunication is stemming from when I clearly stated the incidental fee of $100 already fell off and never cleared my bank. If they aren't showing an overage charge in their system, did the "manager" pocket the extra $100?!?!
If I could give this a negative star I would. My husband and I checked in at 10:15pm on 9/15 for $79.30 for the night. We checked out by 6am the following morning. I checked my bank account 3 days later to see two charges; $100 and $179.30. I called the property the the "manager" was not willing to help or offer to look into our issue. He kept saying he'll send me the receipt and the $100 will fall off in 5-7 business days. He said he'll send me the receipt via email and I said great I'll share my bank statement showing the charges and he hung up on me. I called the 800 number and filed a complaint. Fast forward to day 6, I followed up with the property again and spoke with the "manager" on duty. Again I can't provide his name bc he changes it every time I call in. He again refused to look into this and said he didn't overcharge and he'll send me the receipt without even offering to look into that possibly a mistake was made. To say I'm frustrated does not begin to explain how I feel. Please do not give this location any business. It's run down, smells, bathroom is stained. Most importantly the property is not willing to put in the effort to help resolve mistakes...
Read moreWhen we pulled up, and saw how dilapidated the outside was, I was wondering what the inside would be like. Everything looks very run down and old. Check in was easy. Front desk receptionist was very nice and friendly. The hallway was very dark and everything looks very old and out of date. Upon arriving to our room, when we opened the door, my first step in was sloped down, we noticed a dead flying bug in the floor near the air conditioning, some dirt on the bed. The fridge and microwave are very nice.
But my daughter was laying on the bed scrolling her phone, noticed small bug on her bed that hopped and bit her arm. She killed it but we are now creeped out. The bathroom shower area the tiles are broken, there is mold in the bathroom in different areas, and the air-conditioning works but it has a lot of dirt and is not cleaned. The manager said the bug is just a fly (though I think it's a flea) & moved us to room next door. The beds and the room appeared cleaner but there is a hole (broken ceiling tile) by the door. The bathroom mat in the tub had mold (black stuff) and reddish pink stuff. The air conditioning (set to 61 but not very cold and very dirty) was worse than the other room.
I appreciate the management trying to accommodate us by relocating us but the hotel needs alot of work not just superficially like decoration, the curb appeal, the doors, the paint job, but to assess safety, sloping floors, clean filters and clean air conditioning & mold issues in the bathroom.
We both have alot of allergies to mold and decided to check out. We were not comfortable to sleep there knowing there is so little attention to basic things like mold control, bugs, and a gaping hole in ceiling in which more bugs came come down- I also don't know how clean the air-conditioning is and if there is mold or fungus in the unit. I paid $80 with taxes included and honestly that's a lot of money for the hotel in the shape that it is.
I do not recommend staying here. We rebooked a different hotel on the other side...
