This place is bloated in price especially considering the quality is awful! I'm not even sure it was cleaned after the last stay? There was a broken sugar packet by the coffee and sugar everywhere on the counter, hairs all over the bathroom floor and in the tub, the bathtub has old repair caulking in it with rust on the metal pieces like it hasn't been updated in forever there was an old grape stem in the bedside drawer and to top it all off the place stinks beyond belief. The window does not open so we had to prop the door open with a backpack just to get some fresh air. It was late and we were hungry and exhausted, I was going to tell them about it but there was nobody in the office that night or the next morning and I didn't want to stand around waiting. Bottom line, there are two options in Ashland City for hotels do yourself a favor and pay up for the more expensive hotel otherwise you'll be paying a lot for less then covkroach motel inn comfort. Shame on the owners, I will absolutely pay up at a motel for a good room if it means avoiding slums like this. Totally disgusted and furious that we got dooped. It's one thing to have an older hotel that needs renovations, that's OK, what's not ok is for it to be filthy at the same time. Oh and no breakfast at that price either...they use the excuse of covid, funny because it seems to me that making that keurig coffee they offer exposes people just as much as grabbing a muffin, just cheap, cheap, cheap. Shameful! You're taking advantage of people and it...
Read moreI was skeptical with staying here at first because|it's not your typical chain hotel but I was pleasantly surprised. The room itself was modern and the bed was comfortable. The separate bathroom needs an update to match the room. The AC worked well for being a window unit. The mini fridge and microwave was convenient as we had some leftovers to eat. I was turned off by the (possible) boogers or snot speckled on the desk that was in the room and the shower curtain smelled sour as though it had stayed wet too long and not cleaned appropriately. The shower pressure was really nice. It felt like a massage! The shower water didn't drain well - it wasn't a complete back up, just didn't drain efficiently. I like how it's all one level - no foot traffic sound above us. The service was good. I did not inquire much about what drinks or snacks were available for purchase but my husband did notice a vending machine that was empty. I'm giving this 3 stars for the comfy bed, quite atmosphere, and updated room. If there was breakfast, the separate bathroom was updated, and the couple of cleanliness marks weren't an issue then I'd say 4-5 stars. Thank you Boarders Inn for a good...
Read moreI don't need fancy hotels to enjoy trips, but I do need a CLEAN place to rest. This hotel was absolutely NASTY! I honestly can't understand how anyone has rated this place higher than a 1. I'd go lower than 1 if I could. || We arrived early in the morning, around 1 a.m. The immediate vibe is "UGH!" However, we thought maybe the room would be clean and cozy. The room, instead, was dirty. Cobwebs in the corners, dead bugs on the AC unit, dust everywhere, and a stale smell. There was no way I'd allow my family to stay in such unclean conditions. Getting a refund was a fiasco, but I DID get my money back, thank goodness. I would strongly advise you find another place to stay. ||And I know what you/re thinking....I thought the same thing. The pictures posted by this hotel look kinda nice. They make the hotel look like a quaint, newly-remodeled mom-and-pop kinda hotel. Well, it isnt! The pictures posted are SO MISLEADING! This place needs a serious cleaning and a change in management. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else if at...
