Motel One — Hotel in Augusta

Bedbugs Galore! I decided to stay here because of the location to my job and easy access to downtown. I should have just gotten a budget hotel on Washington Rd. My first two nights here I was attacked by bedbugs who literally sucked the life out of me. The couple next door always seemed to argue in the hallway while their babies cried hysterically. When I informed the owner he acted as if nothing was wrong and stated he would change the bedding and give me new mattresses and springs. Low and behold I come back and the supposedly "new" sets have colonies of bedbugs just waiting for my blood. The owner swears he knows nothing about how they got there as it was "brand new". Clearly it was not new and had been in storage probably with the rest of the dirty mattresses they keep on hand. Finally the owner decided to change my room. The next room I received had little hot water and baby roaches crawling out of the sockets. When I informed the office again they seemed to brush it off as nothing. I don't know if these people think this is okay or that I am high maintenance but clearly they are delusional if they see this as fine. If I could rate this motel minus infinity stars I would. Stay away unless you want to be eaten alive and looked at as crazy once you speak up. I am leaving...

I loved staying here!! It was very affordable and clean. Staff was very helpful and courteous. I got in a room quick was not bothered by anyone throughout the night with loud noises like at most other places I stayed!! I needed a place to live and I am only a20 minute walk to work. It's not a bad place to live. The room is comfortable with TV, a hot shower and heater/ac. A very comfortable bed. Table and two chairs. Two night stands. Small refrigerator and microwave for convenience. Also a dresser for my clothes. They also have weekly rates. All in all...
