X-Mart Adult Supercenter — Local services in Augusta

I’d give 0 stars if I could because I came into this store looking for an outfit and after leaving I realized I had bought the wrong size, which yes, is my mistake. But when I immediately turned around and came back in to ask about exchanging it for one in the right size obviously they could not do exchanged because it is a sex store and yes I should have considered that but it was my first time in one and I was nervous and didnt think to read the signs they have posted. That’s fine, but the cashier knew i was a first time customer, I did not know that policy and he failed to explain that to me when checking out. After I came back in he pointed at the signs and basically told me sorry but nothing he can do, I noticed the sign said something about store credit so I asked him VERBALLY if I could exchange this outfit since it was unopened for one that was the same price, or something else. He told me yes I could do this but HE personally did not have the power, only the manager and assistant manager could do the store credit for me. That I would have to come in the next day and talk to them. I even made the comment that “well it was an outfit for tonight so I guess I’ll just buy something cheaper today and come back tomorrow and exchange this one for another of the same price in my size and he told me that was the smartest move. Before driving up there today THANK GOD I called before wasting my time. The woman on the phone (assistant manager I’m assuming) made it clear that even though her employee told me something that wasnt true the best she could do was make sure they know the rules from now on, AFTER reviewing the camera footage of course to make sure im not lying i guess. Now I’m out 60$ on a SUPER cute outfit I can’t wear. Which would have been fine, if he didn’t go along with me asking about store credit, I’d cut my losses. I don’t care if maybe your employee who you ALLOWED to run the shop that day by himself doesn’t understand the rules completely, but that is not my fault he told me something that I guess...

I hadn't been here since they opened up again in 2010. There was tons of hoopla involving this business and why they shouldn't be in business. I guess they conquered all of that and are in the full swing of things. This is a 24 hour store, it caters to the adult and mature audience....should I say the porn industry. There are different types of things here such as adult toys, videos and dvds, fetish gear and lingerie. There was another adult bookstore in town but it closed this one is smaller than that one. A friend and I came here to look around to see what they had in their lingerie. They do not allow bags or handbags inside the store. I'm not sure why because they do have a security system installed before you enter the store. They had a few lingerie items but not much being that they are a sex shop. We went to another store after this one and they had a wall full of lingerie. The video selection is pretty good with several categories represented. They also have a sale rack of videos in the front that are about $20. You can catch this business at some of Augusta's festivals throughout the year selling and passing out free merchandise. We didn't buy anything that day but I will be back to see what kind of things they still have and maybe I will buy something...

I went in there this morning, July 5, 2020 at around 9:30am. It was my first time ever going into a store like this so I was nervous and a little uncomfortable to say the least. The young lady that was working in there was very friendly and that help ease the uncomfortable feeling. I didnt get anything today because she made me realize I needed to get more information about what my wife wanted when she said a little bigger . She she showed me the toys they had and sizes and even told me what she likes. Since I had told her my wife wanted something a little bigger, she asked the question how big was I so she could use as a reference and when I told her she even recommended a pump. I was to nervous at the time but I wish I had talked to her more about that. I only wish I had gotten her name so I could call up there before going again so I could deal with her again since I have already given her probably more information about myself than she would probably ever want to know. I guess I can only hope she is there the...
