We stayed here for over a week and to put it simply, we were not impressed.

The room we stayed in felt old and not updated. It was spacious and included a balcony, tiny fridge, odd microwave, and a coffee machine. We were not on the ocean view side, which was a bummer considering how long we stayed there.

We could hear everything from the other rooms! Our room was next to the staircase and we could hear all footsteps from that. Throughout our stay various people stayed above and next to us and we could hear conversations and TVs through the ceiling and wall.

When we wanted turn down service we were told to place a placard in the door. The first time we did this, we arrived back at the motel for the evening and nothing was changed. We went to the office and the lady working was on speakerphone with another customer and we had to wait for about 10 minutes before she was done with the phone call and acknowledged we were even there. A quick "hold on for a moment please" would have been appreciated. We let her know what happened and she gave us some fresh towels. The following day they completed turn down service for our room.

The next time we wanted turn down service and placed the placard in the door, it worked. They made our beds, took dirty towels, and refreshed our room with new towels. The final time we requested service, nothing was done again. They need to figure out a better system because the placards will fly away with the wind or they just don't see them which is a sad excuse because there aren't that many rooms.

The parking area is TINY. Good luck if you have a bigger vehicle, you'll probably have to park in the street. They do have electric chargers. They have a ramp next to their office area for housekeeping and wheeling items easily. However, that small ramp is in a legal parking space. I was trying to back into the spot and someone walked out from the building, opened their car door, and just stood there staring at us. I waited patiently with my reverse lights on, and when they didn't move I rolled down the window and said "hello, I'm trying to park there" the lady said "I don't have anyone with an electric car, you can park there" meaning I could park in a different spot than the one im trying to park in. I said "I'd like to back in here" and she said "we use this ramp" and gestures to the ramp. I went ahead and pulled into the electric spot for the night. The following morning ALL parking spots, including the one I tried backing into, were filled. This was typical most days we were there, and now I was in a spot further from our room, and it was our last day so we had to trek across the parking lot with all of our stuff.

We come to Bandon yearly, and we will not be staying here again nor will we recommend it to others. The hospitality is just not there, and the quality of the rooms was sad for the amount of money we paid. We stayed at a motel in a nearby town for the same price a night and it...

Run don't walk from this nasty place. The cottages look like they came over on the Mayflower. The price for the cottage was so over priced for what you got. You had to contact the office if you wanted to plug in your hair dryer in the bath room or any other small appliances before you could use them. My husband and I had made arrangement to stay at Table Rock Motel on our way up the coast to Newport Or. We had made the arrangements three weeks before we left on our vacation. We had checked out this motels before we left on our trip through the internet. The pictures do not look like the motel they had advertise. We had traveled for 10 hours and were very tired when we had arrived at Table Rock Motel, we were upset with the room as we were told we had a room with an ocean view. NOT! The view was between to garages. The room that we had, had some birds nesting some where in the gutter part of the roof so we could hear birds scratching and making noises while we were trying to sleep. The final straw that broke the camels back was when two girls were sitting out side their room across from ours visiting and were so loud they could have woke the dead. The walls were paper thin, so we could hear everything that they were saying. We finally had had enough and asked to be moved to another room. We were moved to another room which was the Honeymoon suite which was so out dated it did have to come from the Mayflower. It did have a view of the ocean and we went to bed. By this time it was getting very late. All night we could hear a pump of some sort running under the floor and kept us awake most of the night. When we got up I noticed that the room was dirty, and of all things there was a large poop streak on the sheets that we had been sleeping in all night and didn't noticed as it was dark and we were very tired.. I was so grossed out I couldn't even think about the horrible night we had just had the night before. When we went to leave we went in to the office to complain and to drop off our key. No one was around so we left. Please make sure if you stay there you really check your room out. We now call this jokingly the...

My husband and I have been devoted customers over the last several years. Last June (2022) we had reserved a top floor room. We have to drive 9 hours to get there and I made sure to call and let the evening desk person know we would be there to check in after our dinner and made sure our room was secured. She said it was. We arrive about an hour later to check in. She gave us a bottom floor room. I had told her we reserved a top floor room. She became very snotty, almost hostile when she said all those rooms were gone and we has to settle for the bottom floor. I was tired and disappointed and with a sigh agreed. I took our keys and didn't see her again. I did write a negative review regarding her a few days later. A few months ago I called to a very nice person and made a reservation for the new addition for a September 2023 date. Everything was good. Yesterday, July 26, 2023, I called to confirm the dates and the rooms in the new addition. Rachel, a very nice woman, confirmed my dates but I was not in the new addition and then when they did get us a room they added an additional $69.00 a night. Ok. No problem. Then she put me on hold. After a few minutes she came back to let me know that there was a note stating that I had been "verbally abusive" to the evening desk clerk at our June 2022 visit. I was appalled and denied it. I explained what had actually happened. She repeated the false accusations and told me I was not allowed to abuse the staff. Once again I denied it happened. I paid the deposit and that was that. I went home and discussed it with my husband. He said that I needed to cancel the reservation and we would go elsewhere. If a staff person sees asking a question as being "verbally abusive" and the management are going to believe then that's not a good place to do business and I agreed. This employee is going to be losing this company a lot of business. When a customer can't ask a question or make a request or comment without someone freaking out and seeing themselves abused then that's a problem I'm going to avoid. Be wary of the nightstaff at the...

This place was a great oceanic place to visit with plenty of scenic vibes & views to see! Some of the rooms didn't have a view of the ocean if that is what you're expecting, and our 2nd floor only had a partial view. The rooms are a bit high priced and there wasn't any offer of breakfast like most places if you're used to it as we were in most cases. The bathroom is a pleasurable size, and more than enough room to accommodate two people. The shower could use a hand wand for other rinse uses, but I completely loved how large it is, and the water pressure was great! The kitchen area was good with enough storage space for your needs. The fridge was larger than most hotels. The positive lead up to our overall comfort and stay at Table Rock Motel is that this place is well worth the comfort and stay if you're willing to pay for it! We were overall pleased with our stay here in Bandon, OR. We've visited quite a few places abroad, and they all have their unique aspects. Table Rock Motel has the most scerinic & peaceful atmosphere on land that I have ever visited to date. It is a must-see, and "Sherry" at the desk made us feel so warm and welcomed like we already belonged here. Thank you so much! She immediately began telling us how to experience the local sights & amenities! The sound of the ocean and waves are at your beckoning with a simple opening of the window. Other than than that, the soundproof rooms silenced the outside noise. The rooms are sooo spacious, and the updates are spectacular. The cleanliness overall we can't say enough about. This is a phenomenal place to visit in our opinion. "Table Rock Motel" is a hidden gem of a place to visit & stay if you're in the area. If you want a scenic & peaceful beautiful Motel to stay in for however long your plans are, then this place is a must!!!

Our room in 215 north building was newly renovated and worked fine for family of four, 3 nights. Older lady at check-in practically greeted me with "So you owe us money" which was a non-welcome (other ladies next day were better). Decor was pleasant and the view was nicer than expected (despite the McMansion directly in front of us) with expansive ocean views to left and right. A few things seemed missing for the bargain price of nearly $300/night in July that would have been appreciated - not one dish or piece of silverware (not sure why the upper cabinets - they are empty). Two coffee mugs only, so don't expect to do much with food (or clean up of any kind). Room was spacious, beds very comfortable, charging ports convenient, adjustable ceiling lights, huge bathroom, and window wash/squeegy on porch a nice touch that got used. Side chair was comically enormous for the space and in the way. All 3 nights I heard at random times a repetitive tapping/drip sound in the wall (not sure what) that woke me up and was annoying. Location to the beach and beautiful walks was ideal, it's a gorgeous area. For the price paid, would probably just Airbnb a place next time for more amenities. Would be a great value for a much lesser price, I guess off-season.

We lost a reservation in a nearby town for plumbing issues and were able to book the Table Rock instead. The location was great- many nearby things to see and do, and Bandon is charming. You are a five minute drive from steps down to the ocean and spectacular rock formations. The beach is gorgeous! There are also multiple parks nearby and it’s a reasonably short drive north to see the sand dunes. The room was spacious as was the bathroom. The host provided laundry services for a small fee. We appreciated being able to drive right up to our first floor room. We had booked through a third party and paid quite a bit over her going rate, so she helped us re-book and cancel the initial reservation. Afterwards, the booking company was totally uncooperative in getting us our refund, and Rachel went waaaay out of her way to help us. You don’t see that kind of customer service much anymore. We would highly recommend the Table Rock based on the wonderful service and spotless room in a quiet neighborhood. At the end of your day It’s just a very short walk to the ocean where you can enjoy some wonderful sunsets!
