Stunningly beautiful. When the Sun is low on the horizon rays of light beam through a keyhole in the stacks. Low tide here is a treat because you can see lots of starfish, mussels, barnacles, and plants attached to the sea stacks that are normally underwater. If you're lucky you might find a few little fish trapped in tidepools too.

I haven't found much in the way of seashells on this beach, but if you see a spot with gravel, go look! You are likely to find agates and sea glass, jasper, chert, and more.

If you walk north on the beach past the big rock formations to the attached South Jetty beach, you may have better luck...

Quiet, calm, & peaceful place. I recently just found out that this place is 2 locations in Bandon, at least that's what Google maps is telling me. One place is a beach look out, w/a big staircase down to the beach. It has big rock formations & long beach to walk on, along the ocean. It can be moderately busy at times. The other place that's rarely busy, there is a small porch that over looks the bay/slough, more of a wetland area.Good place to relax, meditate, or do yoga. Has a deck on the bay that leads to the sand, if its low tide. Small...

Windy and wonderful. Area has great views, and a few different areas to explore, but mainly the nature walk and the beach. It's always windy here, even in summer.

Beach access is gained through a staircase with loads of steps, so be prepared for a small leg workout. The beach had neat rocks to explore, and creeks terminate in the ocean, which is cool.

The lookout is busier, but there is lots of room. There's a new sculpture made from ocean garbage which is pretty neat.

Wildlife officers are often present, and they patrol the...

Oregon Islands protects crucial habitat for birds and sealife. Although wildlife viewing is done from a distance, the importance of these unique habitats are a treasure reflecting Oregons long tradition of protecting a high quality of life. Stunningly beautiful and at times populated with abundant populations of seabirds these islands support nesting colonies of a large variety of sea birds and nursery areas for local sealife. Intertidal zones support complex and diverse populations.
