We had a nice spot before but this one is a lot closer to the amenities and we are right next to the dog park! Home for a while❤️ #batonrouge #louisiana #rvlife #vlog #fyp

We are just leaving a 10 night stay at this campground and cannot say enough positive things about everyone who works there! When we arrived we had a spot a bit further from amenities and our hot water was not working at the time. The staff was so kind and offered to pick me up in the golf cart and help me select the best spot. We had plenty of room in our space to put out our dog fence and never felt cramped. The lazy river, pool, and pickle ball courts are really lovely! The campground is right across from the casino and we got a personal ride to and from for watching the Super Bowl. Also, there is the levy trail right there that, while long, can take you all the way downtown via bike! All of the facilities were very nice and clean! A few small thoughts I would have that would make this spot even more amazing: -A few more dog trash cans (though the staff was also so kind to grab any trash for me and take it without me lifting a finger) -A bit more light (it can be tough to get around and find your spot in the evenings) Thanks to everyone at this campground for your kindness and hospitality! Hope to come again and get some use out of the beautiful lazy river when it’s warmer!

What a wonderful not so hidden gem! We were in town for the USBC Open Tourney and made this home base. We did a cabin. Loved it. Space was good. Clean. Fresh. The upstairs will be awesome for the kiddies! Or, anyone else who is short or doesn't mind crawling into bed. It is short up there. Like under 4 feet. Didn't bother us as we were just down in the bedroom. Now, It feels like Tiger Trail is growing. And the cabin could use a few things. Like, a toaster, a pizza pan and cutter. Has an oven. But I couldn't do a frozen pizza. Weird? Dunno, just sayin'. The pool was great and we spent plenty of time there and the river. Service was great except for one little thing. I wish the guy who checked me in, who seemed in a hurry to close up, would have told us the gate code was also our door code. We used the key non stop and it was a little bit of a pain. We learned on last day that the code also did the door. We absolutely will come back and recommended to a bunch of out friends.

To start the first impression is the grounds themself. Beautiful and well cared sites. We have been here several weekends now and alway see Josh mowing, weed eating or blowing off the pads. He seriously takes pride in his work. Our only complaint was the new landscape guy who wears the flowered trunks. He is quite rude and dismissive. We reported a large wasps nest and called the office and was told someone was on the way. He arrives and made a crude comment to my wife about a few wasps won’t hurt nobody. Was not the tone I expected for the price we pay considering how amazing the other staff is. His appearance doesn’t fit the parks image and it appears he doesn’t like the use of deodorant. I called to speak to the manager but he never returned the call. In fact we never see him. The amenities are amazing. The pool sparkling, the lazy River flowing, and the hot tub perfect. The laundry is a process as it is only an app payment system which for older folks we prefer card or coin. The store is growing but missing comfort items such as toilet paper, paper towels, adult snacks…where did the meat and cheese trays go? Pickleball area does need some shade in the close proximity. The staff are just amazing. Excellent examples of customer service professionals. Gregg and Justin are wonderful with all guests. We had a AC issue and Gregg immediately called a local RV tech to help us get the repair we needed. They truly go above the call to make every attempt to assist their guests. BRAVO! Star is the best beverage professor around. A true PhD in mixology! Even when she runs out of an ingredient she gets creative. Food trucks and vendors were a great addition to football and holiday weekends. Sandy and Kathy are peaches. They are always pleasant and welcoming.

Having a preteen we would love to see more activities that gear towards that age and not watered down to make them feel like preschoolers. The fishing tournament was great. The kids had a blast finding real fish on their hooks.

Having been coming here for months now, we notice the management change and the tone. The new managers don’t quite engage the guests. Seems they arrive and leave on the clock and don’t really try to take the initiative to get to know their guests. The staff make up for that by their interactions which make the evenings full of laughs and dialogue that help build memories.

As the park continues to grow we expect great things to happen. We know the owners are invested and visit often. It’s a great place to stay and visit the local sites and attractions. Also they provide shuttle services to the casino and the LSU home games. Josh & Greg were reliable and dedicated to get us to our drop off and pick up in a timely manner. The trip was full of laughs and conversations about football and the changes around the city. The pick up spot got us back to the park in under 30 mins. That’s a record for those who attend the games. Great job guys. ...

From the moment we arrived, we encountered numerous issues that severely impacted our enjoyment and comfort. Firstly, our sites had no power, and while we appreciate being given a free night to compensate for this inconvenience, it set a negative tone for the entire trip.|Unfortunately, the unprofessional behavior of the general manager exacerbated the situation. Throughout our stay, she repeatedly targeted our group with unnecessary scrutiny. Instead of addressing our slight overcrowding issue in a professional and courteous manner, she chose to act with a snarky and sarcastic attitude. Every interaction with her felt unwelcoming and disrespectful, which is unacceptable for any hospitality business.|On the day before our departure, the general manager approached us on her cart, checked her watch, and sarcastically remarked, "you're way past check-out time." This was not only rude but also unnecessary, as we had to remind her of the free night we were given. Her lack of professionalism and eagerness to disrupt our stay left a very negative impression.|Additionally, the general manager was again rude and unprofessional when my friend had to call the after-hours line after being locked out of the laundry room. The staff member who was sent to assist arrived cursing and taking pictures while my friend was finishing laundry, which was completely inappropriate.|Moreover, the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities were subpar.
