THE WORST MONEY IVE EVER SPENT! I was purchasing a $600 gift card as a birthday gift. Since I do not live in the area I called the spa a couple times to get detailed run down of what is included in the facial. It was a $330 facial and I wanted to make sure I was getting my money’s worth. I had to call more than once because the people I spoke to gave me such vague information. Finally I explained to the girl that I was paying a lot for the treatment and her answers where not satisfactory. So she put me In Touch with an esthetician.the esthetician told me that after a skin assessment, they would perform the steps for the facial, I asked if they would be able to recommend products based on the skin assessment as this line biologique recherche is very pricey and covers a lot of skin concerns so it would be hard to just guess. The brand themselves tell you not to guess but to get a professional assessment. She assured me they did all that. She also told me that you would be able to enjoy other rooms while you were there, jacuzzi, zero gravity, etc so we were prepared to make a day of it! Needless to say, the experience was not any of that. It was so impersonal. My mother was not given a skin assessment, they did not give her any feedback on products, they did not even tell her what rooms she can enjoy afterward. On top of that they ended up taking money off her gift card for a massage they ended up cancelling. And then not even mentioning it for several days. What a nightmare! I was soooo disappointed that I spent so much money and was given such poor poor service. I DONOT recommend this place to anyone. They are definitely not in the customer...
Read moreTook my mother for a facial together for Mother's Day. We are Orlando locals and regularly go to the Ritz for spa treatments and normally eat lunch by the pool their after our treatments. Notably their online spa home page has a picture of a person floating in a pool. After our facials we headed out to the pool to order lunch and catch up. When we sat down to order lunch we were asked for a room number and told the attendant we were spa guests. We were then told that the pool was only for "resort guests" and asked to leave. I asked if any exception could be made as these were our Mother's Day plans, to no avail. I wanted to cry as this was both embarrassing and disappointing (we were in our bathing suits). Four Seasons does not see you as a guest worthy of sitting by their pool for an hour even after dropping $800 in their spa. Just all in really poor taste. I am not sure why spa guests are not recognized as valued enough guests to sit by the pool and pay them more money for lunch! I would never dream of having an issue like this and the experience quite frankly ruined my day. It’s an interesting policy for a five star hotel in the “hospitality” world especially when it doesn’t match industry/competitor’s standards. We will not be back and will just stick with the Ritz. Rebuttal regarding photos of a pool: please look at the spa check in iPads viewable when guests have completed intake information. 100% a photo of the pool, not a hot tub. Misleading...
Read moreBippity boppity boutique is still closed in the aftermath of Covid, and 4 seasons is taking full advantage of the opportunity to provide this experience, which is absolutely fine. HOWEVER, to charge more and do much less is not fine. I wanted my daughter to get to do this, but now that I know what’s Included I wish I hadn’t. The lady that did it was nice enough, but for $310 (plus tip, details to come) it just wasn’t worth it. We were probably there 25 minutes, we went straight to magic kingdom from there, the dress was torn in two places before we got there, everything was just lower quality and not what I had in mind. But the icing on the cake was the expectation of a tip for the full amount. I fully expected to tip, but we were asked to tip the $310 dollar amount. I didn’t realize we would be expected to tip the cost of merchandise, which I did not appreciate. Even after I asked a couple of times, it was presented to me as if I was expected to do so, so I did. The quality and experience just did not fit the price, so I cannot recommend the kids royal treatment experience to other parents on a vacation that is sure to be expensive enough already. Four seasons is super nice though, the resort is beautiful. If you happen to see this review,...
