Cliffview Retreat 11 Bedroom Luxury Lodge — Hotel in Beattyville

The Retreat Lodge was PERFECT for our 8-sibling family reunion. We had spouses, children, nieces and nephews and grandchildren attend. The layout of the lodge was fantastic. Family was able to move around the three levels to 'catch up' with other family members without running into each other. The large deck on the main level was also perfect for relaxing and eating meals. The kitchen was well-equipped and the commercial refrigerator/freezer and double stoves/ovens were perfect for our family. We enjoyed all of our meals at the lodge, eating together and enjoying each other as much as possible in the three-day timeframe. The bedrooms were spacious and the lodge was very clean. Nancy and all the staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our experience the best! I chose the location and organized the reunion as family members came from all over the US. Everyone was very pleased with my choice. Red River Gorge area is beautiful. We enjoyed the zip lining, cave kayaking and definitely hiking and taking the tram to the Natural Bridge area. Wonderful for a family reunion! Each bedroom had it's own bathroom.. So nice.. Toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, laundry soap and towels all provided..so helpful to not have to pack... Main area was big enough for everyone.. Games.. Food.. Football all could be going on at once.. ☺ Two hot tubs! Fireplace and outdoor firepit.. And our own little theater.. Wonderful! We also took advantage of the hiking trails nearby... This cabin, more like a chalet, was a perfect space to house our speakers and staff for our event held at the Cliffview Reception Hall.
