Fiesta Inn — Hotel in Bell Gardens

Overall a decent place to stay for a cheap price. Room was okay, but floors were super dirty. If we walked around barefoot our feet would literally turn black. Location was decent and felt safe overall. We did have an issue with the staff - at literally midnight in the middle of our vacation an employee knocked on our door and told us we needed to vacate the room in the morning because they were doing construction. They never talked to us about this prior. They claimed they called our phones but neither me nor the people staying with me had any missed calls. Not only was this whole debacle unprofessional, but they were literally lying to us. We asked to talk to managers but were told managers weren't available. They did end up allowing us to stay an extra day in that room, but we had to pack up our stuff and move to a different room the day after. Other than this situation, the staff seemed generally nice and approachable. Again, it was a decent stay for a cheap price...just be prepared to experience the low quality of service that...

Rude and not welcoming since the moment I walked in no hello, welcome, thank you for coming, instead the girl in the front desk kept cutting up some paper she was working on as if I wasn't present while standing right in front of her once she finally acknowledge me I asked her for a room for two she tells me are you sure it's only two because if there's more than two later I will be charging your credit card. I told her that was fine and ask for her name she refused to give it to me I did let her know I was going to post a review, she of course replied you don't need my name. Rented a room through a package on Travelocity. 1st time in California. Outside of property is well maintained. The actual rooms are very outdated. The mattresses are worn out. The pillows are flat as pancakes. The towels and washcloths weren't readily available. Upon check in they were "remodeling" the room above us. We were exhausted from the travel. The young lady at the front desk said we could check out and be refunded for the remainder of our stay. UMMMM, and sleep WHERE?! We are not familiar with the area. We had to change rooms 3 times due to issues unrelated to us. The last room we ended up in had no fridge, no microwave. Overall attitude of the staff was...
