Legend Hot Chicken - Bell Gardens — Restaurant in Bell Gardens

Decided to try something new over the weekend and found this spot, we got the legend sampler I won’t lie it was good the chicken was crispy and had good flavor in the picture it looked like it came with rice but didn’t see anything when we picked up so not sure honestly. My only complaint would be the order online process, I swear I added flavors but when I ended up actually placing the order everything just went through as original crispy and I didn’t notice until we got home. Got to try the Mac n cheese pretty tasty , fries were okay lol would give it another chance but hopefully I get to try with sauces 😂 also I guess depending of the time they’re short staffed, we ordered maybe around 5:30pm and only one person was inside working but overall wait wasn’t too bad , and I’d recommend calling ahead to make sure they have boba, I got a taro milk tea with extra boba but when we picked up they said they didn’t have any boba soooooo I paid extra for nothing . Soda machine has exposed bags of soda and their pumps and none of the sodas are actually carbonated. You are better off getting a can drink from the fridge. There were 2 people eating inside, don't eat inside during summer bc there is no AC or fans. Food is really overpriced for quality and service. I ordered combo 3 and combo 6. Cashier was not made aware that there were no thighs, legs, and wings by the cooks (this was on a Monday at 5:45pm). Cashier came up to us twice because she didn't know what was available on the menu so we asked for a refund. Manager seemed nice and apologized but when we got our order, they didn't give us the fries we ordered and our tenders did not have the flavor we ordered either. I always start my review with the Positive part of my Experience. Customer service was Good, alot of parking, and alot of seating, place looked clean. Now for the negative part of Experience. I have been here several times and have always been Satisfied!!! However Today was Disappointing. The Sandal sandwitch today was not the level of Spice it used to be,also the Size of the sandwich now is smaller, it had too much sauce coleslaw was runny .
