I am giving 5 stars to this park becuase even on a Holiday still had parking availability within considerable distance, it also has nice green areas with huge beautiful and gorgeous trees you don't find easly in other parks, also to take notice this park has a section where there are soccer fields for specila sports events that you can rent and those fields are well designed and maintained to suit pretty much any sport events, we were able to appreciate and have some nature interaction with local squirrels, birds and other animals roaming in the park, also the restrooms even with that many people at the park it had paper toilet at all times, the only bad rating i could give to this park is the fact that there were neglected by visitors and not attended by the park staff (remember was a holiday) maybe staff wasn't available that day, but in the mens restrooms half the toilet units were clogged and full of feces on the floor and the smell was horrible, but like i said it was a holiday, apart from the restrooms the park was very nice, clean...
Read moreI came here on a lazy Saturday night and fell in love with the place. There were families here watching their chavalos play futbol, kids running around, and young couples tucked away in the corners. Some kind of warmth filled my soul. As I ventured in, the sound of Spanish music filled the background and the smell of burning wood was present in the air. It really hit home (even though I am not a local). I strongly encourage you to visit this place and have your own experience.
I was impressed by all the amenities this park offers, -A baseball diamond -3 Turf soccer fields -Biking trails -A pond and more.
I will definitely be...

And yet the Murderer, who also murdered an 8 year old boy, Carl Carter, still goes unpunished. Is Ford park afraid to remind people that it happened? Memorials are put up for people all the time. These were 2 innocent boys at the age of 12 and 10, who had their whole lives ahead of them., but cut short by Harold Ray Memro, who is still on death row. I don't, and never have blamed Ford Park for this, but think the park needs to recognize that this did happen, and that a memorial should be erected to...
