My daughter had her 4th birthday party here. It was a wonderful time, and they let us bring a craft along with us. There is a fridge available for use, ample counter space, a sink, and 3 tables small enough for toddlers but not so tiny you feel like you're a giant. The staff are very helpful and kind. The tour was fun for all in attendance. We got to pet the animals and feed a few too. They also have a craft for the children to complete, we opted to bring our own and do that instead, which was very nice.
With that being said this could be an even better party if there was the ability to use to the small access road in front of the party rooms for a quick load and unload of party supplies, food, drinks, etc. I think adding a couple of signs for party attendants to have an easier time to find the party rooms would be helpful as well as adding a sign, like a sandwich board to write party names on, so you can differentiate from the birthday party guests and other park guests. Alotting 15-20 more minutes for setup would be nice, but it isn't too bad as it is.
Overall I was very pleased with the party and am grateful to have found this venue. I would recommend Kelsey Creek Farm for any young children's...
Read moreYesterday I was taking some senior pictures at Kelsey Creek Farm. It was in the evening between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. on September 11th 2013. We were minding our own business and not bothering anyone until I was approached by an older lady who looked as if she worked for the parks department. She informed my friends and me that I needed to pay a $20 fee if I was to take pictures because there were historical buildings and therefore it was not free. First of all, I was not taking pictures of the buildings, and only focussing on the young man as the subject. I have been doing photography for almost 10 years as a hobby and now trying to make it into a profession. I have been all over the Pacific Northwest, and have never been asked to pay a fee especially at a public park. I live on Mercer Island and I pay huge money in property taxes to fund these public parks, and I am completely disgusted by the rules and regulations at Kelsey Creek. I will not go back nor will I take any further pictures at Kelsey Creek Park. There are many other beautiful places with people who make you...
Read moreBeautiful Farm Park with plenty of animals. There were cows and horses too but the owners were tending them so I didn’t take a picture.
Pretty huge park with plenty of trails to other areas.
There were picnic areas, bbq grills and a nice kids playground. There were people there so I didn’t take a picture.
Thank God for the nice day.
“Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so.
And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind.
And God saw that it was good.
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”
