Lakeland Resort — Hotel in Benton

We stayed at Lakeland while passing through the area for the night on a long roadtrip. Debbie (I think?) was the attendant and she was extremely nice and helpful. She waited up for us (we arrived at almost 11PM).

We stayed in room #3. It had a queen and a full sized bed. Room was clean, bathroom was clean, beds were clean. AC window unit was working just fine. Mattresses were soft, pillows were soft. There was even a little table, microwave and mini fridge.

Place was quiet and we slept well and woke up rested.

Always a pleasure to be guests of Lakeland Resort. We make our annual trek for Hot August Blues. Although it was cancelled this year, we decided a get away would still be good. Even though the weather wasn't always cooperative, we had a great time. Deb & Dave are so wonderful and accommodating. Hoping to get back before next year. Love staying there. Anything you need is a stones throw away. Perfect place for boaters, water sports, fishermen, atv/utv enthusiasts, hunters, etc. Family friendly, extremely clean, reasonably priced. Clean rooms, very nice people make you feel like family. My Fiance stayed here for 5 months while he was working in Murray, Kentucky for TVA, and I came up for a weekend and stayed with him. The owners are very nice and very accommodating. Definitely recommend staying here, and it's right by the river, and also have an amazing old country store right next door, has homemade ice cream and lots of cool stuff, souvenirs, old antiques...
