Quick and most recent update: Still absolutely love the managers but DO NOT PAY WITH YOUR DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD AT THIS MOTEL. The owners take it upon themselves to just run your card for 290.99 without you being in the same state, and without your consent. They will post multiple charges that you will be unaware of and they will not refund any of it. I have had them literally steal from me over 300$ and twice I wasnt even a guest at thier hotel, I had to file a police report, get my bank involved and shut my card down because they continue to run my card. I am currently in another hotel in another town and was still being charged for weekly rent. On top of that the Kay County Law states that if you have revised in the same place for over 30 days you are not to be charged an occupancy tax, but they still charge ALL taxes and fees. Please save yourself the headache and just don't stay here. I am not the only person they do this to, there have been at least 5 during my stay. If you are one of the people that have been stolen from by this establishment please contact me, I will assist in trying to get your money back, although this has been so recent I am still in the thick of it but do have attorney's. Even the Blackwell Police department states it is bad and have had several reports. Check in was quick and easy. Front desk and staff have been amazing. Room is what it is. The only real complaint I have is there is not a pool or a fitness center which I was looking forward to but then again it is what it is. The hotel does need some upgrades and repairs. My room was clean and I honestly have not smelled anything that isn't typical of a small town hotel. Walmart, Dollar General, Dollar tree and a grocery store literally across the street so that is a plus. I'm in town on a 3 month contract and will continue to stay throughout. The staff keeps a close eye on things and being a female staying in new place i feel safe knowing if I need anything they will have it covered. They over charge from the website that has taxes included it was 59 dollars and some change for single they charged 74.11 the rooms are gross wasn't cleaned ac don't work well my mom and her boyfriend didn't even stay we wanted the money back for deceptive sale like dollar general is going through they refused we got another room at baymont much better hotel near i35 and next to it the amazing tasty los potros restaurant 219 at super8 didn't have a peep hole so people could look in my room bedding was nasty crumbs every where on under the blanket and sheet with pee, burn marks place was run down 216 at super 8 had fire alarm out that is safety issue same thing with the bedding we took pictures and videos leaving the place after taking the blankets, and sheets off so they actually do there job and wash them there's cockroaches! But worse of all the staff and employees to this company act like mobsters that pay judges off or bullying make up loop holes to hurt the average American. Bill P., They had him stop by and check the rooms and confirmed the complaints he said he was there legal advisor and been doing it for years and good at it 😉 and the next day they texted me stating we damaged there property and called cops so we called them ourselves the PD stated that no one called on them matters and we can show all our pictures of the deceptive sale that happened the pictures of inside rooms of the nastiness before checking out and walking out there doors! Terri was on shift when I arrived, and what a blessing she is. She gave me the best rate available , I am a Pilot Car and we do have a budget. She is a real gem 💎 ✨️ 💖 I am glad I got there while she was still on duty. The place is really nice my room was 211 and it is so quiet 🤫 when I look out the window 🪟 u see fields of "something growing, lol In the distance is the highway but there is silence because it's so far away. Anyway it was two days of relaxing with a little laundry of course. Shopping is available just remember thus is not a giant city,and I am thankful. Even the Mgr on duty helps to keep the place clean, I found her mopping the floors ,they had alot of workers coming to stay there after work. This place deserves 👏 to be on the map. I hope it will continue to be wonderful and affordable ✨️ 😊 I will be back when I am in the area. Thank you very much to make my stay great. They also printed some email for me I needed the permits for my upcoming coming trip. So again ty 😊
