Personally this has been perfect for my fiancé and I for extended stay. The king size bed room has plenty of square footage. It has storage space with a largish 3 drawer dresser, large desk with a pull out drawer and rolling chair. It’s super quiet even with other guests staying in the rooms right next to you. Awesome fast speed WiFi and many channels to watch. There is a walk in, large, nicely tiled shower. Although I would prefer a better ventilated bathroom with a stronger ceiling vent for humidity control. The rooms are lacking in several areas that aren’t really detrimental to comfort as they are still functional; but with that being said there are still several updates, changes or improvements that could be made to make everything more appealing to the eyes. For instance the cleanliness ( not saying it wasn’t clean just some things become more noticeable after a while) though it was visibly clean at first it did smell and still smells (after 1 month of staying so far) like old cigarette butts and just a staleness that is almost like old dust or body odor believe it or not. The hanging wall lights on either side of the bed are loose coming out of the wall along with the outlets being wriggly inside it. The hanging tv on the wall is very small almost like a large desktop computer screen mounted. I’m not trying to sound funny but honestly it’s like trying to navigate a flip phone screen from across 3 football fields and I thought I was going blind but the tv is just insanely tiny and I could probably fit it in my fanny pack. ( I watch all tv on my I pad instead so the tiny wall 1st generation I pod… I mean tv… is just for looks or trying to go blind…unless you have bifocals.) oh and there’s a washer and dryer with 24/7 access for guests that’s kinda stinky….( edit: my weakness is honestly with a side of humor to lighten the mood so bear with me) but works really good and I use it whenever because it’s always available half the time. overall if you’re looking for a nice little humble, cheap, easy going, quiet…. Semi decent smelling, cleanish looking at first ( edit again:….sorry about the long read and sarcasm)(just needs a good ceiling to floor deep clean every now and then… nothing crazy😬 please?…I’ll help if you need me to.. just send a bigger tv) ,really close to town, awesome WiFi, roach free, insanely small but functional mounted flip phone… I mean… tv type of motel then look no further THIS is the place for you ( after getting this far I do realize that I am slightly more bothered by the tiny tv than I realized at first but do with that what you will:) ps… I will happily give you guys my Roku 40 inch and mount it myself because I looked up how much that tiny tv is and the wall mount by itself cost more than that tv………… think about it..no pressure.
One more thing and I’ll go….. can I get a discount for staying here so long…. I mean I’ll clean some rooms and might even through in a few screws for the hanging night light, outlet, thingys by the beds….. btw this is by no means hate or negative in any way. I am just slightly blind now from your tiny tv on the wall and I can only hear crickets in here from the noise canceling walls so that might have something to do with it. Thanks for letting me stay and…psss. I work from home, do reviews and ratings so this was bound to happen.
I fear I’ve said too much 😪so I’ll leave you to your motel or hotel search and yes I really do stay here
(Please bring a tv bigger than 2 inches wide if you choose to stay here and I will take this tiny, miniature so called tv away from this giant oversized wall of despair. Then I’ll put it back where it belongs with the rest of the tiny tablets and I pods,…I mean TVs and they will be cherished by the non blind and far seeing individuals that they were made...

Read moreI stayed here over night as a result of lack of water from the Great Texas freeze in February 2021. The biggest thing I was looking forward to was a HOT Shower. I settled here due to the cost, $60 + tax for one night was great. Check in went smooth and when I opened the door to the room it was warm inside and the room was actually impressive looking. Tiled hardwood floor, Nice paint on the walls, Cozy and inviting. It had a clean small refrigerator, Microwave and flat screen TV. Very nice King size bed with plenty of pillows. Chairs, night stand, desk, Fold down ironing board with iron. Small 3 or 4 cup coffee maker and a blow dryer for your hair. Plenty of CLEAN towel's, maybe overkill but I sure liked it, never can get enough towels and wash cloths. Well, the room sure looked good but when I went to take that long anticipated HOT shower I was let down finding the shower didn't work. Awe Shux! I dove into the bath tub as a alternate plan. Water was okay but didn't get as Hot as I wanted. Got comfortable, enjoyed a large cup of coffee and napped on that huge bed. Woke up to a barking dog two rooms over a few hours later. Watched TV, ordered a pizza, went back to sleep and checked out at 4:30 AM. The room served the basic purpose of rest. Just didn't get to take a damn shower .... Only other drawback is you can hear your neighbors maybe too well. Sound travels in that building I was in. But hey, at least no leather faced guy came out of the wall with a...
