Bearcat Cove at Valle Crucis — Hotel in Boone

This cabin was an absolute joy. It’s cozy enough for two and big enough for a family or friend vacation. The location is far away to see views and close enough to get to a restaurant nearby.

My girlfriend and I had our first getaway here, so this cabin is near and dear to our hearts. Almost a year later, we found ourselves reliving memories in our little oasis.

The owner thought of everything comfortable you would want in a cabin. The fireplace is the rockstar of the living room. The kitchen is not only gorgeous but functional and organized. The owner left no expense behind, from the beautiful wood island to the high-end appliances. Rooms are spacious and cozy with a rainforest shower.

Two large decks hold amazing views of red and orange sunsets or heavy fogs hugging the mountain curves. No matter the time of day or season, it is magical.

We highly recommend staying here. It was clean, thoughtful, and decorated with adorable bears and industrial-themed decor. Even for Christmas, it is a great way to celebrate holidays with the family as the second time around, there was a Christmas tree, lights, wreaths, and other holiday decor.

Cozy, clean and well- decorated with thoughtful touches (like a keurig that is hooked into the plumbing so you don't need to refill the water basin!), 2 decks, beautiful mountainside views- perfect for watching the sun rise while you sip coffee, or watching the sunset with a glass of wine.
