The Jerky Outpost was everything I hoped it would be, and more! I would give it six stars if I could. The selection of jerky made my head spin...I couldn't believe how many brands and flavors there were, let alone types of animals. I bought kangaroo jerky, among other things.

The owners live in a gorgeous house up the mountain a bit behind the store. The shop itself is absolutely beautiful. Everything is spotless clean and so much effort went into the outer facade, which looks like a row of wild west store fronts. Inside, the vast ocean of dehydrated meat is accompanied by several other product types, including a huge wall of all different kinds of k-cups (coffee pods).

I think what put me over the edge, however, was the woman behind the counter (her and her husband own the place). This woman knew everything about her products! My wife and I asked so many questions and she pointed us to a perfect product matching what we were looking for every time. She was so friendly and helpful...good customer service goes a long way with me.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I am a HUGE fan of jerky, including the exotic ones, and this place has the best of the best!! I recently found out I'm gluten intolerant, and this place even has a great selection of gluten-free jerky! They make their own line of jerky that is AMAZING, they carry exotic jerky, blends with exotic meats, extremely spicy jerky, sweet, smokey- you name it, they have got you covered! They also have an awesome and interesting selection of other snacks like cheese balls, pork rinds, chips, along with marinades, hot sauces, pickles, peanuts, old fashioned sodas, specialty coffees and MORE!! Tons of local products, along with some bigger name brand items, and nothing but VARIETY! Well, as far as jerky and snacks go 😂 and, if you love it as much as I do, they have a punch card for bagged jerky!!
