If I could give this place a 0 star, I would. There was dust all over the door. Severe stains all over the carpets and chair. The was a hole on the bed cover which I presume is from a cigarrette. When I walked in the smell that hit me was disgusting 🤮. Black tape was used to secure the AC to the wall. There was no shower head. The vent under the toilet was rusty and broken. The entire room just looked dirty, old and not updated in maybe a half a century. I put my own bedsheets and over over the bed because I was not willing to take a chance to get some disease. When I laid on the bed, I could smell the disgusting carpet. It was so smelly and gross that I had to get up. I usually enjoy staying in however, I went out all day just to avoid staying in the room. For $76, I would have stayed in a better hotel for a couple of more dollars. Also, the picture of the hotel is not what I was checked into. A very disappointed and disatisfied customer. I'm never ever coming back. Ever! Oh may I add, the AC was very dusty and dirty inside from where the air comes from. From the look of it, the filter has not been changes in ages. Cobwebbs and dander hanging from corner to corner. Btw, the door doesn't open. You have to fight it before it does.

Initial room cost at the hotel ($120, $109 with AAA, double beds) itself was very high for the room, I know cause I've worked at and stayed at enough hotels to judge. Def an older building, not updated very much, save for an A/C heater unit installed in back of the room over a sink. Missing shower head, possible mold on ceiling, over long shower liner - which being damp and piling up in the tub or on the floor will contribute to mildew, damaged window screen, back of door needed a good scrub, single deadbolt latch, old torn carpet, old baseboard heaters around perimeter of the floor, but the smell was probably the worst. Cigs + pet urine, though of course all rooms are non-smoking. Febreeze plug didn't help much. Location is great, but that's it, service was fine, especially as we had left an item there and upon providing the hotel with a SASE, they agree to mail it back. We stopped here only because it was rather late and we were passing through with crummy cell service, so, not able to find rooms on our phones. It's not those who work there, it's those who own it.

I reserved a smoke-free room, which smelled heavily of smoke. The desk clerk claimed they did not have any more spaces available to switch to. The clerk gave me a bottle of Febreze, and it did not help one bit. Two days later, I could still taste the nicotine coming off the wall and everything else in the room and spider webs all over the place, and spiders in the bathroom ceiling. The shower curtain was cloth and leaked water all over the floor. On top of that, the tub would clog when I showered and would not drain quick enough, so I was standing in a puddle of my own wastewater and soap. The chair in the room has dark stains all over it, and I was afraid I might catch something if I sat in it. The room still had the old HVAC system on the lower walls, as you can see in the photos. The bed frame would not get close to the walls. If I pressed my smoke-smelling pillow against the wall, it would fall into the gap. The staff was friendly; they refunded half the night's cost since I did not get what I paid for. I cannot recommend this property to anyone; STAY AWAY!!!!

So this place is insteresting. Probably hasn't been updated since 1988. If you have ever watched any movie where the main characters stop on the side of the road to stay in a motel overnight from their road trip and they enter a drabby, ugly, looks clean but you dont believe it, kinda motel room... that exactly what this is. It's kinda dark, the window unit stinks, the room smells like old stale cigarettes (we dont smoke) the textured paint is not just on the ceiling but on the walls for the full experience! We pulled the mattresses away from the walls and looked behind the little dorm fridge and in all the little nooks and crannies for bugs and didn't see any. Maybe a better vacuum job from the cleaning people if anything. The linens are dollar store quality that have been washed 100 times and can you can also use them to exfoliate... (yay! No Loofa needed!) It will be interesting taking a shower tomorrow morning b/c I've never seen a shower head quite so bad. Reading the reviews was confusing. But now I understand. If they are happy with the room they probably stayed in a cabin. If they were mediocre to unhappy they stayed in the motel. There is an iron, blow dryer, coffee maker, dorm fridge and microwave and two paper thin pillows per full sized bed. I'm glad I brought my own because if I didnt it would be a horrible nights sleep. If we came back it would be for the cabins since everyone seemed so happy. Not gonna stay in the...

We booked the room for 2 nights. We stayed in room 49. We called and told them we would not be checking in until 7 or 8 oclock and they were fine with that and waited for us. Very nice of them. When we got to our room and settled in I went to take a shower and guess what... NO HOT WATER. We called down to the office and they told us that the other 7 rooms that were right there with us are on the same water heater tank with us. The bottom four rooms have jacuzzies in them. That was really irritating and inconvenient considering we had a kid who only likes baths and wasn't able to take one. We ended up heating water up in the coffee pot and sponge bathing her. Gross I know. On top of that the floors were not cleaned very good at all. They're were still chips from the previous guests on the floor next to the bed. Behind the bed had not been cleaned either. The toilet kept clogging up and it was a pain. ON TOP OF ALL OF THAT.... the bed sheets were either stained or not been washed... The blanket in between the outdated comforter and the sheet had like a red sauce from like pizza or something on it. It was dried and crusty. The cabin logs on the outside at the balcony need to be replaced. Terminates have been eating away at them. I will give the staff credit for putting salt out and clearing the snow for people to walk to drive. If we have to stay again it will be a last resort type of stay. Oh and the wifi sucks. McDonalds has...

Our trip was wonderful. Our stay was decent for a last minute booking. We can't wait to get back to the area!!! Check online for realistic photos, so you know what you're getting. The images on the website can be a little misleading. We stayed in one of the Weekender Cottages. For a family of 6, it was really the only choice. The pull-out sofa blocks the door, though. The front desk was very responsive to our needs. We had a problem with the shower, but they came over within 5 minutes to fix it. The microwave gave us a problem, but they fixed that quickly, also. There was a sign posted in the kitchen area stating that we'd be charged if we didn't wash the dishes before checking out. Unfortunately, it was obvious that they did not verify that the previous visitors had washed them, because they were put away greasy and we had to rewash them. Due to our late booking, we ended up with the cottage furthest from the road and closest to the go-cart track next door. Remarkably, with the door closed, the go-carts weren't an inconvenience. It was a bit too loud to sit on the front porch and have a conversation, however. Additionally, parking was difficult. They definitely expected only 1 car per cottage and there were 5 vehicles (2 full-size pickups, 1 SUV, 1 minivan, & 1 car) for 4 cottages and parking arrangements were...
