Had reserved room 3 weeks earlier, then arrived to "no reservations, no vacancy" ... After several tense moments thinking I would have to find another place to stay, staff finally found my reservations. The room, #217 at first glance seemed to be well-cleaned overall, then I picked up a towel from rack in restroom and noticed a very long hair on it. I didn't complain at the time but now seems noteworthy. Overall the room was ok but seemed a bit over priced for being outdated. On a good note about my stay, the breakfast was very well prepared and well stocked with a good 24 hour supply of hot coffee. The staff in general was very friendly, with the exception of the maintenance man Donnie Gerhart. At first it seemed like he was trying to address the issues of the television sound and picture NOT matching. It was very noticeable with approx. 1sec. delay and hard to watch. Donnie rebooted the system without a positive result, then I spoke to him later, he said no one else had complained, like what I said DID NOT matter. I left a message for General Manager Teresa Gerhart with no response. When leaving from my stay I carried my luggage out planning to come back for a walk-through to check for items left, then I came back 5-10 minutes later to find the room had already been gone through by cleaning staff. Read moreWhen we arrived the room we had originally walked into HAD a maintenance worker in it and so we had to transfer to another room, 2 hours into being there the water wasnt working we talked to front desk and they told us we would only have water for about an hour for the entire stay, so we had to book another hotel, the front desk was no help, laughed at us when we was concerned about it being unsanitary cause we had no water to flush toilet. The room was clean but it was a horrible experience, I dont suggest anyone book rooms here sure to how our service was. I understand it wasnt their fault not having water but they could have told us when we checked in, and the front desk lies to is twice saying the water was going to be fixed within 30 minutes, we contacted city utilities and asked them about the situation and they told us the truth and that the water would not be fixed until the next day, the girl at the front desk was hateful at first when we demanded a refund but later told us as we was giving back the key, but later told us we would get...

I just wanted to let them know that I would not be there until the next day and wanted to confirm that I could check in early the next morning. She said no, I would have to wait until 3... I figure if I am paying for the room the night before I should be able to check in... I was told since Im not staying that night, I wouldnt be charge. I thought that was great since I was changing my reservation the same day. Yet, I was charged full price. I asked to talk to the manager when I checked in but she wasnt there. Next day, I just wanted to confirm that the manager was given my message and they took down another message. At check out, I asked about the manager... told Teresa wouldn't be in until 2 and she would call me then. Here we are, a week later, and nothing. One of our rooms had noodles between the bed and nightstand. And their breakfast tastes like it was microwaved in a plastic bag. If it weren't for the wedding party staying here...
