We stopped at this motel for a one night stay while our cabin was under construction and were really disappointed. Starting with the check-in process: I went to the office to check in around 7:00 pm. I had to walk over to Irving to find someone to check us in. The whole process took almost twenty minutes. When we got into the room it smelled very musty and a little like wet dog. The motel says they don’t allow pets but there was dog hair on the floor, which leads me to the next point: cleanliness. Besides the smell, there was dirt, dog hair, and dust all over the room. We also had an issue with spiders and ants. A lot of the amenities are really run down, also. The toilet continues to run unless you jiggle the handle and it was leaking on the floor. The lamps by the bedside had really touchy switches. We had to find just the right spot for it to stay on (and it still clicked off a few times). We ended up using our own bedding because even the bedsheets smelled dank. If I could come up with any positives it would be that the water was hot and there was a nice view. The beds were pretty comfortable all things considered, as well. All in all, I was pretty disappointed. The motel has a great location and could be a nice spot. It was just pretty run down and not properly...

Read moreFirst of all locating the inn was a problem it comes up as a different name on the gps then the hotels actual name. The service was beyond terrible, there was never anyone in the office. It said you could check in until 8pm, we arrived at 6pm and had to call someone to check is in. Then we were sent next door to the gas/restaurant to get a meal. The grill was so gross with caked on grease, I passed on this one. The room was very nice, could have used a microwave and coffee pot, and maybe not have lamps right over the head of the bed, but to the side.(Just a suggestion) Then a double charged me for the room, we had to go back to the gas/restaurant because again no one in the office, this was morning next day. They called the manager wanted us to wait until he came in to settle it and give me my refund, I told him we had family plans couldn't wait around. So we got ready to leave the next morning and check out went to the office again no one there, again back to the gas/restaurant the guy that called the manager said oh he doesn't like to get up to early, oh well,he shouldn't be running a business then. He sent his wife or girlfriend in to the office to settle up with us. If I were you I would go...
