My recent stay at the Marriott Bonvoy Residence Inn in Lenox Park, Atlanta, was truly a wonderful experience, and much of that can be attributed to the amazing staff, particularly the manager, Mimi, who is an absolute angel. Despite the ongoing renovations, which are clearly communicated, the team at this Residence Inn works tirelessly to minimize any disruption and ensure guests feel comfortable and valued. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and Mimi's dedication to guest satisfaction truly shone through in every interaction. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The hotel's location in Lenox Park offers a great balance of being tucked away in a residential area while still being conveniently close to Buckhead's vibrant entertainment and shopping districts, including Lenox Mall which is within walking distance. Convenient amenities like the kitchenette also made my extended stay easy and enjoyable. While some reviews mention challenges related to the renovation, the staff's efforts to mitigate these issues are commendable. Guests feel safe and well-cared for during their stay, and the team prioritizes creating a positive experience. The Residence Inn Atlanta Buckhead/Lenox Park is highly recommended, especially for extended stays or a home-away-from-home feel. The warmth and professionalism of Mimi and her team make it a special place. Returning to see the completed renovations is something to look forward to.

So this stay was ok.. I wouldn’t go back . Only stayed for about 3 nights the location is good. Looks good on the outside and the front desk but totally different when you get in the actual hotel rooming area! The front desk area is totally different than the actually hotel itself. The front area is well lit, bright and vibrant , but the hall ways to the rooms are VERY DARK AND CREEPY. Def was uncomfortable walking alone. The elevators are old and the buttons are broken on them. Smells like strong weed! The front desk only had over priced diet drinks. Not even any water for sell (the staff will give you some). Also our room kept having some kind of beeping noise. The staff was very nice and helpful I must say! We did have an issue with our room key not working so we had to go back down to get another one. But the building and the rooms def need to be fixed. This place reminds me of an old run down apt building. I def wouldn’t want to put children in that bath tub, it just didn’t look up to par. Peeling and chipped paint, etc. The location is great! I just don’t like how you have to walk outside to get to your room to go into another building (bad weather). Overall, the room did its job , sadly I wouldn’t stay again. They need to update the building. Please look at the photos I posted of the broken buttons and dark hallways and chipped paint!

Stayed over the weekend for family event in town. The hotel shows its age in the carpeting and furnishings. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. Some toilet issues addressed quickly. Staff was friendly and largely helpful. Watch your rate, we had no car but automatically charged $18 parking per night. We entered garage as directed to reach the elevator to load, unload and be picked up by our kids (without parking for more than a minute, not overnight). This was adjusted on checkout. Be sure to request a printed bill for review at the desk to be sure. Never saw the pool open. Breakfast was so, so. Not much fresh fruit, no yogurt. Eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, sausage, etc. Typical residence Inn fare. I had some problems using Marriot's website to book this originally. An extra charge was refunded promptly for a room inadvertantly booked. AAA rate request didn't seem to work correctly. Some small damage was on the inside of the bath door that had not been addressed yet before check in. We noted other things in the hallways and common areas like large carpet stains and soil. Stairwell was really unusable due to a smoke stench if you wanted to skip the elevator wait. Overall our stay was fine, just an older property that is coming due for interior upgrades. Hopefully, with covid over they will work on this soon as it does detract from the property.

What can I say, This hotel has exceeded my expectations and the amenities were amazing and the staff was exceptional. I hosted my Family Reunion this weekend Sept 19-21 and my family was taen care of with the utmost respect, consideration, help, guidance, support and all the other amazing qualities of customer service. The weekend was coordinated a year ago starting with Ms. Selina. In Feb 2025 Ms. Selina informed me that she no longer worked for Residence Inn Atlanta Buckhead Lenox Park and I was terrified but then I met Charles Jones the General Manager and he put me in contact with Ms. Elizabeth Alexander and assured me that everything discussed last year would be honored and It absolutely was. In June 2025 I was introduced to Sierra Jones, the Assist Manager, and she was very helpful and accommodating and I figured I was still in good hands. I would make calls every 2 weeks to get the booking status of the family reunion and every call was handled by Mimi the front desk representative and her customer service was so helpful I was assured that I selected the right place for my family reunion. Just when you think the review is done, lets fast forward to the week of the Jones/Patterson/ Thomas Family Reunion Sept 19-21, 2025. I had family who checked early and they were accommodated in the most loving, helpful way. I kept receiving calls about Ms. Mimi and Ms. Kim and I was happy to finally meet the women who had been taking care of my family even before time permitted. Now for the Exceptional Service award: Ms. Mimi was amazing. A family member was locked out of her room Friday 9/19 and Ms. Mimi worked overtime to get everyone she could to come to the hotel and assist with the issue and she checked on my 93 yr old family member every hour on the hour. My family member had medication that was locked in the room and Ms. Mimi stayed up all night with her to ensure she had another room to rest in but also that there was no medical emergency despite her having her medication. At that point I was SOLD that Ms. Mimi was an official and adopted family member. Ms. Kim and her breakfast request she fulfilled with no questions asked or hesitation was exemplary as well. I am so happy to leave this review because Marriot needs to know about the Stellar 5 star service provided by their employees. I wanted to know who I needed to call and graciously thank for hiring these two exceptional employees, and I decided to post it online for the world to see that Ms. Sylviette "Mimi" Odom deserves a major RAISE because she exuded everything you want in an employee to provide exception customer service to all your paying guest. From the bottom of my Heart I say a million "Thank You's" to everyone who made this weekend an unforgettable experience for my family from 94 yrs to 3yrs old, everyone was satisfied.

I would have given no stars if that were an option! We don't usually write reviews after a hotel stay, but I have to this time. Our stay at Residence Inn Atlanta Buckhead was a horrible experience.||First of all, we received a last-minute email on our arrival informing us that they wouldn't provide breakfast, which was included in our reservation, due to first-floor construction. I find it hard to believe they had no prior planning for such a major construction and only notified their customers one day before their arrival, leaving no room for them to rearrange their plans. When I asked the front desk staff about the breakfast upon arrival, he looked into my eyes without shame and said, 'We have sent you an email already,' without expressing any sorry. I can't believe that someone can run a business like this. Actually, we were on the airplane when they sent the email, and then we drove for hours afterward. We couldn't cancel the reservation and book another hotel on the same day of check-in. I believe they intentionally sent the email late to prevent their customers from making alternative arrangements. We didn't argue with the front desk about it.||Second, the HVAC fan in our room made a huge noise all night long and didn't stop even for a second, even when we set the thermostat to off. The only thing that could cover the noise was the fan in the bathroom, which made even louder noises. We could hardly fall asleep all night, which ruined our itinerary for the next day.||Third, the hotel is worn and old, and the elevator is not safe. The control panel has some broken covers, and the elevator sinks every time you enter or exit.||Lastly, the staff was rude and unwelcoming when we checked in. I can't believe this hotel is associated with the Marriott standard. Overall, this was the worst experience we have had with hotels. Of course, I will never go to this hotel again. With a wooden ramp at the front, the swimming pool area under construction, and staging materials in the parking area, they can tell you that they notified you yesterday about stopping breakfast tomorrow morning without shame. You can tell there is no honesty. This also makes me question the...
