So far, I think I'm falling in love with this place. I just moved to the area from Tampa, FL where we have a lot of amazingly delicious authentic Chinese restaurants, and after coming up here and looking for something that can compare to the quality of what I'm used to, I finally can say I'm truly happy and impressed with Atlanta and it's all because of Chin Chin Brookhaven. My family is Chinese, I've eaten it all my life, and I honestly really enjoyed the food from this restaurant. I look forward to trying more dishes off their menu. I also am very happy with the speed of which it was prepared, it was all steaming hot, and everything came as it was supposed to in the bag. My grandmother taught the importance of food presentation in Chinese food and for this place to satisfy that even while in to-go containers I think is pretty impressive.
The customer service was great too! The cashier was so friendly and expressed her gratitude to me as her last customer for the night by telling me thank you for catching them before they closed. I thought that was really a genuine and gracious thing to say. I feel that a lot of other people would be so rude to their last customer because they want to hurry up and go home, but she wasn't at all and I wish I got her name so I could give her credit here in this review. I really appreciated that sentiment and quite honestly I'm really glad I caught them too! š For those that want to try what I had, I got the 3 Cup Taiwanese Chicken and the Thai Basil Fried Rice. Even if Basil Fried Rice is Thai, it was amazingly delicious and I'm a little upset that my stomach won't let me finish all the food they put in these containers š š¤¤. I support Chin Chin and if you're looking for a sign to give this restaurant a try I hope you follow your gut and support this great restaurant and have the meal of a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreChristmas Eve. Restaurant side was fairly busy, take out was very busy. Food was very good. BUT hereās the rest of the story. First server cautioned us that it was busy. Fine, to be expected. He was a little abrupt but again, almost to be expected. There were 5of usāmy wife and I, our adult son, and another couple. A bit of a wait after placing our orders. The other couple got their dinners, about 10 minutes apart, roughly a half hour after we ordered. Son got his about 15 minutes later. Wife got hers another 15 minutes after that. Hey! What about me?! Original server saw after the wife and son got their food and muttered he would check on mine. Never came back to our table. Flagged down another server, he said he would check. Ten minutes later, he said he would check again. (Looked like he had forgotten.) Finally got my dinner after everyone else was pretty much done. Yet another server came out to refill water glassesātold him I expected an adjustment on our bill. 20 minutes later, he came back to refill water again, asked him if a manager was coming out. He said he would check. Ten minutes later, girl come out with credit card machine. Told her I needed an adjustment. She said Iām sorry, Iām sorry, will get someone. Gone. Waited prob another 20 minutes, finally decided to take my bill to the front desk to pay it there. Lady asked me if I was happy, I said no, she offered no further discussion as to why. Since my dinner and 20%tip were about $4 apart, I oaid the bill but zeroed the tip. My friend caught the water guy to ask why no one came out to address the situation, water guy said everyone was in the back. They were too busy. Yeah, it was busy but not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo we have been regulars of this spot for the past two years since we moved to Brookhaven in April 2019. It has never failed us!! Good quality Chinese take out and delivery. We have never dined in, but we plan to once the baby can get out!!
This place takes their business seriously. They email me after every order with a survey, and they always follow up. Also, get the chili oil. You know a place is good when the chili oil is homemade and $.25 per container!
The sushi is basic but delicious. We ordered the new Chin chin Snow White roll and it was delicious. We also had a fried roll we've never had before And I was happy to find that they put the sauce on the side so the roll would not get soggy. Both roles were really good, but I have personally like the spider roll the best! You'll find a lot of cream cheese rolls given the demographic in this area, but it's all always made fresh. Ask packaging is top notch with the sushi!
For entrƩes, or go to his General Taos chicken. There's not too much breading and just the right amount of veggies. We always get this with fried rice. their fried rice is $2 extra because it's worth it. It is not some rice cooked in soy sauce... it's stir fried with onions, peas, egg, and carrots. Soooo good even on its own. Tonight we ordered the Szechuan beef, which I found to be unlike other places I've had before. It is made at CCB with Shredded beef, shredded carrots, and scallions, but I added mushrooms to our order.
Needless to say, this place hits the spot and I'm not sure why it's rated as such on yelp. Do yourself a favor and order online. Their menu has unless sushi, Chinese,...
