My husband and I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Folkestone. The location is so quiet and peaceful, and Toni is a wonderful host for all of her guests. We really felt welcome and at home here. I felt the layout encouraged guests to socialize, while offering pockets of quiet privacy when needed. The grounds are lovely, and we will miss visiting the chickens and the porch cat. Breakfast every morning was fantastic, so delicious and so fresh. We stayed in the Stems and Petals room, which was a secluded first floor room off the main entry. We loved our little patio and I enjoyed watching the birds in the morning. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. In a world where Bed and Breakfast locations are becoming glorified hotels, this place is legit and offers the authenticity of hospitality and warmth. Thank you, Toni.

I have stayed at the Folkestone Inn 3 times so far, once in Wrens & Warblers and twice in Falls & Creeks, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay each time. The inn has a cozy atmosphere and Toni and Scott are so welcoming. The living room area was a great place for all of the guests to gather and get to know each other. I slept extremely well in the beds and the breakfasts are delicious. Scott's homemade sausage and smoked bacon is to die for! I can't wait to visit this summer when they have their herb and vegetable gardens planted. If you take a left out of the driveway you'll find the Smoky Mountain National Park just a quarter mile from the Inn and if you take a right it'll take you to the charming downtown area. The Folkestone Inn is THE place to stay while visiting Bryson City.

Truly wonderful B&B located in Bryson City, NC. About 10 miles from the main southern entrance to Great Smoky Mountain National Park, the B&B is located lass than a mile from one of the lesser used entrances to the park that has a great hiking trail with 3 waterfalls. The proprietors of the B&B, Scott and Toni, are great hosts. The rooms are well appointed. Each has individual bathrooms. We stayed in the Wrens and Warblers room. Very comfortable. Nice balcony for morning coffee and afternoon beverages (as well as a great front porch with rocking chairs for same). Breakfasts were awesome. They were very accommodating with dietary needs. Every detail was just right. Highly recommend!!!

Just left this spectacular Bed and Breakfast. It does not get any better than the Folkstone Inn in Bryson City. This is the best one in town for all the reasons below. This place has clean and very comfortable rooms and beds. Large lovely open outdoor space with chickens and roosters roaming, along with the outside house cat Jerry. Outside firepit well stocked with everything you need to start a fire and comfortable chairs. Inside the main house you will find a library, games and a large fridge to keep your favorite bottle of wine. Wine glasses and opener there too. Breakfast over the top with gourmet wholesome cooking. All dishes from scratch and handmade right there. Lemon souffle pancakes with blueberry compote from local farm. House made bacon and sausage. Scratch blueberry muffins. Poached egg dishes from their chicken coup. Even the yogurt is house made. Wake up every morning to breakfast aromas and roosters. Afternoon scratch made cookies await you inside the main room in the house. . We last stayed at The McKinley Inn last trip and were very disappointed. They offered store bought yogurt and frozen store bought quiche served in a three bite serving along with potato filled breakfast burrito with a sign that read ( please take only one) . We left and went to Folkestone Inn. Folkestone Inn is the best of the best in Bryson City. Innkeepers Toni and Scott are very welcoming and you will notice the minute you step instead their beautiful home they really love what they do. I give...

Wow, wow, what an amazing Bed and Breakfast Inn! Beautiful old farm house converted into a B&B. The owners, Toni and Scott, were so welcoming and kind, and what I really liked, not overbearing. One of my favorites about the Inn is the complimentary farm to table breakfast every morning. It was unbelievable! They have their own hen house on site, a smokehouse for smoked bacon, sausage and ham. A different breakfast every morning and so much food (fresh fruit, juice, etc), that we didn't need to eat lunch. Coffee ready every morning at 7:30. Delicious homemade cookies available throughout the day.

We stayed in the upstairs room, Boats and Paddles, very comfy bed, a small balcony you could sit out on. Very much enjoyed not having a TV!

Loved sitting on veranda at evening with a glass of wine (they have a refrigerator that guest can keep items in) and watching Toni getting the chicken into the coup at night, or a visit from Jerry, the cat, and then watching the fireflies as it got darker.

Bryson City a 5 minute drive away and an entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains, an area called Deep Creek, within walking distance of Inn. 3 waterfalls you can hike up to. Can't wait...

Excellent, comfortable and homelike place to stay near Bryson City. The location is excellent and very close to Bryson city, two national parks entrances and a short drive to the Casino and a nice walkable city(Sylva). The room was very comfortable and the bed was amazing as well. We loved the breakfast and it was different each of the 3 days we stayed. Afternoon cookies and tea were a nice treat to look forward too as well. There is a very sweet and affectionate cat named Cherry that lives at the inn(outdoors) that loves to be pet. Lots of chickens live at the Deviled Egg Inn on the property and supply the delicious eggs for breakfast. There is a farm right next door that has horses and cows which are beautiful to watch from the porch or through the window as you eat breakfast. There is also a small “game room” with a ton of board games and also plenty of books throughout the inn for a quick read. It was a great experience and would definitely...
