We got a suite for an amazing price, it was very clean, even the hotel itself was clean, they have slip on booties and bags to put dirty work boots in, they have one of those boot cleaner things at the side entrance, property was very nice and tidy. The only downside was their pool was out of commission so the nice patio didn't have the burn pit lit, which is understandable without the pool working. BUT they were willing to give you towels and go to the Best Western to swim, it was maybe a 5 min drive, Caldwell is a small town, it's a nice little town, how many other local hotels would allow another ones customers swim in their pool? Not many! I think the American family that owns Comfort Inn owns The Best Western, which looked nice from the road, it's located more in town, we were right off the interstate at Comfort Inn. I had an accessable room, the shower was huge, with a built in bench that folded against the wall and the shower head slid up and down and came off for me to rinse easily, THANK YOU for that! If you shop around on websites, I'm sure you'll find a reasonable price. I slept on the couch, I didn't fold it out, it was super comfy. The ONLY complaint is they need to offer a step stool for their rooms, regardless of disability, I'm sure all the beds are that high, I just could Not get in the bed easily. Hubby said it was comfortable, and the couch was, so I was well rested, and their breakfast was pretty nice and the women working there were nice and helpful and kept the hot food filled, thank- you! I'm sure I'll be back when I need a few days of RR, maybe next time the pool and patio fire will be...
Read moreI’ve stayed at this comfort inn twice now. The first time we stayed here, my step daughter wanted nothing more than to swim and try a hot tub for her first time, however, we got there pretty late about 9:45 and it closes at 10. The lady at the front desk I don’t remember her name but she was young with long blonde hair maybe Lindsey? Anyways she let us have the pool until 10:45 and that was great! So nice of her. Our second stay was recent, few nights ago actually. It was just my fiancé and I, but it was still the same great service! Vikki at front desk was truly delightful and helpful. Even offered her personal experience of auto care places. Another young gentleman who was still new I believe last name being Stewart maybe? Lol he was such a pleasure as well, the general manager was definitely my favorite! She was so polite and just warm welcoming. I met her last time around too and it always great to see her! The owner was also very kind as well. I was waiting and the desk and when he walked in juggling a ton of boxes still instantly asked if I have been helped, I had been helped was just waiting for them to grab something for me but he was just as welcoming! It was a great experience. It may be 2 hours from me but this is my favorite choice for a choice hotel. Extremely clean. I’m also a choice employee, I work at a comfort inn and a comfort suites. Separate but same owner. So when you work at a hotel, you have another eye for what you expect, and this hotel went above and beyond to meet my every need! I...
Read moreOur stay at the Comfort Suites in Caldwell OH was wonderful! |Check-In was a cinch.. i had requested a quiet room, i didnt need to do that, this is the quietest hotel i have ever stayed in and it was packed both nights of our stay. This is also the cleanest Choice Hotel i have stayed in.. i mean, IMMACULATE! From our room to the common areas to the grounds and parking lot, i was really impressed by the cleanliness ( even the stainless elevator was clean and without hand prints). The indoor pool/ hot tub area was likewise clean with plenty of towels and the heated pool was sooo nice, i had the privilege of having the entire area to myself for a couple of hours, which was amazing & rare. They have a really nice patio area complete with a covered designated smoking area ( away from the entrance)… as a smoker, this was a nice consideration that many nonsmoking hotels do not offer & there is even a little fire pit. There are also a few picnic tables with grills in the back yard. Immediately next door there is a restaurant called Wings Etc, we didn’t eat there but other guests said it was great ( they have a full bar.. doing the crawl back to the hotel would be easy). The lobby always had fresh coffee and iced lemon water. Breakfast was good, nice selection .. gravy, eggs, bacon, sausage & waffle makers also- various bagels, muffins & breads. If you are in the Caldwell/Cambridge area and need a place to stay, this is the place!! You will not having...
