Quality Inn & Suites Caldwell I-77 — Hotel in Caldwell

We have stayed at this location a fair amount over the last two years. This was our third stay this year. This stay was a bit of a disappointment compared to previous stays. The WiFi was terrible. They changed it a couple months back. The instructions were to connect to QualityInn2.4 which is slower than new routers which would have both 2.4 and 5G. There was only one access point. Depending on the size of motel we have stayed where they have had multiple routers to pick the closest one. It was so bad we couldn't connect with even our phones. They were very good about moving us to another room the next day which was suppose to be really close to the router and modem. We could connect but the speed was slow and from time to time we would loose connection. We would sooner pay a few dollars more each night to have good, fast and reliable Internet service.

While our room was clean the motel wasn't kept as clean as it could have been, yes there were work crews staying there but there was dirt in the halls and in the stairways each day.

Normally they had fruit in a bowl but two mornings we were there they didn't have any fruit out.

My wife went to use the laundry machine but it wasn't working. When my wife went to the clerk on duty they were very good about it and offered to do it in the motel's machines. There wasn't an "Out of order" sign on the machine and one hadn't been put on it in the few days we were still there nor was it fixed.

When we checked in we waited at front desk for 15mins tried calling multiple time and finally the night shift guy answered (sounding like he was sleeping and I woke him up) and I asked him if I could please check in. When we got into the room and I went to go to the bathroom it hadn't been cleaned and there was dried pee all over the toilet seat. Had to send my husband to get towels and stuff. The carpeting should have been vacuumed at some point before it was rented as there was dirt and toe nail clippings all over the floor. I also had to make another reservation for my last day since the lady who did my dates put checkout for 30th not the 31st. When I went to check out and back in the new older lady with short hair was extremely rude said "well no one told me I had to make keys for you" then continued to Interrogate me about who was in the room with me? There was also an older gentleman who was checking in and was put in rm 105 he asked where it was located and she informed him she didn't know and he needed to figure that out himself. I pointed him in the right direction as I was in higher rm number so I knew it wasn't my way. Over all worse experience I've had at a Hotel. I don't get me started on the Meth pipe!!!! Will never stay again and would highly recommend someplace...

If I could have gave you no star I would have. I recently stayed here and there was a snake that had to of come from another guest room that was in my room in the bathroom I immediately called the front desk the guy told me he doesn't deal with snake's and he would call the police I said okay please call them. The police never came and was never called my son and his friend had to catch the snake the guy at the front desk said to kill it or that the boys could keep it. My son's friend ended up taking it home with him.

A few days later I booked another room and when I got to the hotel they said I was put on the do not rent list couldn't tell me why. Later on I called and spoke with the manager she said I wasn't aloud to book with them again because of the snake issue and that I brought the snake with me. And flat out told me I was a liar when I told her I would never have a snake. I even told her to watch the camera footage from that day and she would see where it really came from. She denied me my refund from where I booked online unknowing that I wasn't aloud to rent from them so she kept my and I wasn't able to get the room.
