Wings Etc. — Restaurant in Caldwell

We have ate a few times on my way home from our family cabin. Due to the fact that there isn't one near Northeast Ohio. The food is great, but the service was horrible Wednesday night 19 October 2022. There was only a few tables sat when we arrived and they had their food. It took the server five minutes to bring us our sweet teas. Then we waited almost ten more mi ites for her to come and take our order. We almost left to continue our drive back to Cleveland. Whad to ask another server for different beverages due to the fact that the sweet teas had a very weird taste. Because our sever never came back to check on us. The food arrived and it was hot and very good. We have always received great tasting food from here the few times we have ate here on our way home. As it is a place to eat that isn't fast food and it doesn't take long to have your food prepared and brought out to the table. Our server only checked on us once and didn't come back. She never even asked if we needed refills. We had to ask another server for a takeout box. Then the Hostess asked how our dinner was or if we needed refills. At which point we asked for the check due to the fact that our server was at a table they just sat and was having a personal conversation with for the past 10-15 minutes. Back in January I had to return home for a funeral. I was staying in a nearby hotel and returned in the late evening after visiting with family. Hungry and thirsty, I drove up to Wings Etc. hoping to get a beer - it was fifteen minutes before closing time. It was January 26th, and the weather was bad. When I arrived the parking lot was empty and I figured they had closed early until I saw someone at the bar. It was Mindy, the bartender, and Tiffany, the Manager. To my amazement Mandy said that I could order food right up until 11:00 and poured me a cold brew. I've been in a bar or two, and if it is slow, often the kitchen closes early. Additionally, often you can't order a beer that close to closing. Mandy and Tiffany were the epitome of hospitality - I really needed those wings and beer, it was a horrible week. Thanks so much ladies for giving me a much needed bright spot in an otherwise dreary trip. I will never forget...

I am absolutely fuming with this place. How dare they make me wait well past the promised pickup time for my food? It's utterly disrespectful and completely inexcusable. The audacity of these people to think that my time is so expendable, that I can just stand around twiddling my thumbs while they drag their feet. I couldn't care less about their excuses or apologies at this point. All I want is for the damn food to finally be ready and in my possession. Not to mention, we have a 6 year old in the car as well. 😠

The manager could've at least came up and apologized or offered something to mitigate the pain of this wait and the screaming of my kid that was in the car. 😠

This is not cool. If it's not worth the agonizing wait and frustration they've put me through, I will be even more angry, and they will lose this customer for life. I'm seething with anger right now. Omg. Jesus,...
