The worst hotel 6 I've ever stayed at. Especially when you have paid a few thousand dollars to them and have treated them respectable and nice. To the owner treating you poorly and not paying at exactly 11am. But no complaints when there was a late fee evolved with no trying to get out of it. I was going to go check in but manger was doing rounds and told me he will be back in office in 10 to 15 minutes. I was on the phone with a family member and was headed down to office after I got off phone and here he comes with owner and tell me to leave and can come back in a couple of days because I kept paying 30 minutes late. Yeah, no thanks ... no it was discrimination . I was crying already going thru alot with now this, my husband sick on crutches. And now having to move all my things out of the room. I will not be coming back in a day and wasting more money on this piece of garbage of a hotel. Only thing worth a crap are the housekeepers. Who I'm sure get treated so so bad by the owner. It's my fault for even coming to this hotel and should of left a while back. The beds here are no good you might get lucky with a comfy bed but it's limited. No coffee pot in rooms and morning coffee is horrible and only have very tiny Styrofoam cups to put it in. More like shot glass cup of disgusting coffee. You are bugged or woken up way before checkout by housekeeping to clean your room everyday. Checkout is 11 bug your costomers after checkout time not 8am in the morning, it's inconsiderate and rude. What if I work nights and sleep during the day. Be polite and considerate to people. It's not that hard. Do not waste your hard earned money at this place. Go to the other motel 6 in mojave. It's 1000 times better than this one. It's next to the shell gas station. The only thing nice about this hotel is the outside of the hotel. That's it. I might post a video later with this review but still thinking about it. This video will forsure make this business go to crap. But I don't know yet if I want to do that. But I really think I should so everyone can see the distress cries this hotel helped cause. It's...
Read moreThe reception clerk was so kind and showed such compassion towards me I really appreciated this and she is very kind and professional to all who come to motel 6 here in Mojave. She explained what possible services would be available to me and the cost each day and check out time for each day and although I don't perfer regular coffee she provided me with hot coffee and showed me to my room and explained sometimes the cleaning crew can be in the room and she explained that I could put the lock chain bracket on the door for safety and the room was decent and clean and nice and I am so grateful. I enjoyed being able to shower and was my two dresses and under garments and the hangers we're there where she stated and the two beds we're more than enough space for me. She explained there's is no food available here but that it does offer a laundry facilities for washing clothes. There is a phone for local calls only and the young lady Crystal which was on her indentation name tag clearly shows but she also told me her name. I know it was not part of job description perhaps but I explained some of the reason why I Cheryl Ann Taylor Johnson had come to Motel 6 and she show such kindness to me and she also said she understood. So I really appreciate your policy of all human beings been able to come to Motel 6 and I enjoyed the that I could smoke cigarettes in the room and that the room was located down stairs although I didn't look up to see if rooms were upstairs. So thanks so much for all the services and emity that...
Read moreWe have stayed here before, in the rooms fronting the highway. The interiors resemble the photos above. I called from home to make a reservation. We arrived late. The woman who took my reservation did not record it so no room was held. We were given a room "in the back". The rooms in the front have trains running by periodically. We thought the "back rooms", two big wings, would be insulated from the trains. They were. We never heard a train over the incessant yelling of a woman, barking dogs, men yelling for the dogs to shut up and what sounded like, around midnight, someone driving up in a loud vehicle. The woman was no longer yelling and the dogs shut up. All this time we were trying to get comfortable on lumpy, squeaky beds with miserable lumpy flat pillows. The plastic on the light switch over the sink was broken. The bathtub had no plug for a bath. We had one hand towel, one washcloth and two bath towels. No hot water, just pretty warm. Aesthetically, the bathroom was a beater with poorly installed tiles in the shower and on the floor, chipping paint and dingy corners. Room furniture was a group of random pieces. Drawer in bureau looked like something had pooped in it. Suitcase valet had one broken strip hanging down. Fortunately, the bed sheets appeared to be clean. We should have known there would be problems before we opened the door, which was covered in greasy finger prints. Too bad it was so late in the evening, we would have left for...
