Something about The Workz on the outside suggested something in the middle of fast food and fast casual, so off the bat, I wasn't really expecting too much.

Getting to see the menu and the near limitless options had me hopeful at first, but after ordering the Pastrami Burrito smothered, I quickly understood Dr. Ian Malcolm's timeless comment, "Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn't stop to think if they should." It's was a cheap Burrito, with cheaper Pastrami, a few pickles, and a lot of sauce and grease, worth maybe $7 on a good day. It was $16.

The zucchini fries on the other hand, tasted great. The portion size was enormous, and it was overall a solid, albeit regular, fried zucchini spears experience.

Then the crispy chicken sandwich. I'm glad that thing was only $6, because if i had the choice to lick the dry ground of the Mojave Desert, or take another bite of this Chicken Sandwich... it might take me a bit longer than it should. I'd still chose the sandwich, but it wouldn't be the easiest choice I ever had to make.

Fries were solid. 9/10 on the fries. Maybe stick to the appetizer-like foods here.

Service was absolutely phenomenal. The employees were super friendly, they smiled, were quick with service, and seemed to have a pretty solid method/routine in the kitchen. No problems there - best part of the Workz by far.

Atmosphere was very "Freddys" meets "Arbys." 50s Diner meets refurbished, trendy adjacent low end fast food restaurant. The tables were almost all sticky and gross with crumbs and used napkins all over, but there were several seemingly safe options to choose from.

Overall, the Workz isn't really worth going to unless you are absolutely desperate. But the appetizers were great. Cant...

We visited the Red Rock Canyon State Park on memorial weekend and we stayed at the area near highway 14 and CA-58, this restaurant is the only one that has everything we wanted, simple dinner after a long day driving and exploring. This restaurant is a self serve restaurant, you order and pickup your food and bust your own table. Quite convenient and quick. It serves breakfast all day and I wanted some pancakes and eggs. The works breakfast $14 has everything and huge portions. My wife had a works burger that she said it was the best one, and she only eats in-and-out LOL. The burger is big and really feed both of us with everything on it, even avocado. My breakfast plate has pancakes that so fluffy my wife ate them all. The hash brown was so good, I haven’t had this for a long time. Sausages, ham, bacon cooked perfectly. Scrambled eggs is excellent too. The only thing we wished the batter was better is the onion rings, it’s tastless although the onion is sweet. Regardless, It’s amazing restaurant. We would definitely try again when we travel...

Honestly great customer service we've been driving for 2 days we had 3 hours left on the drive and we decided to stop in here drive-thru and we got two steak and egg breakfast burritos a kids chicken and fries and then a breakfast sandwich all were delicious the steak in the burritos tasted like a ribeye it was cooked so well the eggs tasted so fresh honestly the best burrito I've had in years and I live down in Buena Park area it's a good burrito places down here but I'd have to say honestly if I could give it an 11 I would , I literally ended up looking up the name of this place and calling back after an hour out of finally finishing our burritos on our drive back just to say I wanted to give a shout out to the cooks because they're cooking was so delicious 🤤😋 let's just say a long weekend of eating out this end of the trip so well it didn't feel like fast food it felt like I came home in other words it tasted like a home cooked meal so good top tier if you drive by I would...

I stumbled upon this gem 💎 ✨️ 😍 by pure luck (terrible weather that made me take this route). My 9 hour drive back home has now turned into a 12 plus hour drive and I am frustrated and hangry! I saw this place from the highway and gave it a shot. I will be completely honest, this roadside burger joint is among the best I've ever had in my life and hands down the best burger joint I've been to in at least 5+ years. They have a lil bit of everything which makes it even more attractive. My meal (pastrami sandwich with chili fries) was the highlight of my year do far. I can't express how impressed I am with the quality, quantity and wonderful friendly staff this place has. I highly recommend The Workz Mojave to anyone because you won't regret it. I am in a happy place now. 😊 Thank you The Workz Mojave. Definitely can't wait to come back to so cal to enjoy something else on your menu!

Was in Mojave yesterday to see my Uncle. Me & my wife brought him here for lunch. Fast food vibes. Big menu. Not cheap but worth the price. About $15 per person if you do combos like we did. The worker that took our order was friendly. Food came out in a reasonable time. Burgers are big. Usually I get double burgers but glad I didn't. I couldn't finish mine. Had a couple bites left and some fries when I tapped out. Quality is a step up from fast food. Combine that with portion size & this place is worth what you spend. Had aome of my wife's Fried Zucchini and those were really good & big. Definitely worth the couple dollars extra to upgrade from fries. Definitely down to come back and try other menu items when in town.
