What a cool golf course. The problem is it was our first place we played. The rest of the courses we played this week were not as good. We were spoiled 😜. The only issue I found was that some of the approaches were mushy walking up to the greens. This was due to the fact that projected temperature for the day it was going to be in the high 90s. Putting surfaces were a challenge and the different variety of holes made this my favorite course of the week.

Very beautiful and fun course. Would love to play this in the fall as today it was brutal heat. Carts have ball and club cleaners and a cooler on the side so you can keep the basket behind the seat free for other golf items. Fairways were very plush and the rough was playable but just the right height to grab your iron and really slow it down. Greens were fast but in great shape. Can't wait to get back down there when the heat wave is over.

Really fun course in good shape. I enjoyed the variety of holes that require many clubs and shots. Great views and friendly staff. Putting green was a bit ridiculous as far as all holes being on harsh slopes. Would play again, but there are other courses at The Ozarks that I would prefer over this one.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. GOLF TWICE ANYWHERE ELSE FOR THE PRICE

It's very disappointing when you pay $140 to play golf and be talked down to and condescended by Rob ( I think was his name.) the golf marshall after your group stops off after 9 holes to use the restroom and spend another $100 dollars at the cafe, that we disrupted his schedule. When we returned to golfing at the 10th hole. There was no one on the tee box, and we just resumed play. The next 3 holes we were harassed by Rob the golf marshal on what tee box we should be using, and that we were "behind schedule" finally after the 3rd time of him waiting for us after teeing off to remind us again we shouldn't be playing the blue tee boxes (we were scrambling, and waiting on the group ahead of us at each hole.) We informed Rob we didn't appreciate how he was harassing us after each tee off. He then proceeded to get very argumentative, telling us we aren't allowed to stop off for the break we took, we were 31 minutes behind his schedule, and in 5 years he had never had anyone disrupt his schedule so badly. I have worked in customer service for 13 years, and I have never seen someone behave do unprofessionally toward paying customers. If this is the standard for a golf course they considers itself this high end. I'm am beyond unimpressed. There were also multiple other groups complaining about how he was telling them to stay on the ass of the group ahead of them, and they hardly had time to practice swing because of his harassment. When a member of my group calmly and politely expressed our disappointment. He was told "Sorry you took offense. It's just busy today." by the manager of the club house. This is NEVER an acceptable excuse in business, and should never be said to a paying customer. I will never play this course again, and will highly discourage any other golfers from doing the same. Also the bratwurst was mushy and undercooked, so I don't see how customers can prevent bathroom breaks (this disrupting the almighty golf marshals schedule) eating them. The nice woman who cleaned our clubs at the end was...

Course was very wet from over watering so everywhere around the greens were wet. They instill in you to play in 4 1/2 hrs but yet they allow 5 somes and 6 somes so it took us 5 1/2 hrs to play 18 holes. Bunkers are not playable as they don’t have a lot of sand in them while having a lot of small rocks. They used to have great bunkers to where u could play out of them . Not worth messing up your club to try and play out of them. Cart girl was non existent on the front 9 and when we made the turn at 4pm on Friday, everything was closed up to where u couldn’t get anything cold beverages. And sign by the pool for the tiki bar said “be back soon”. Pathetic !! The course was packed with golfers still and had 3 1/2 hrs of daylight still left!!! Fortunately we saw one after the 11th hole. Seems they are catering more to the larger groups who stay at the hotel and are forgetting about the smaller groups of 4-8 and letting these groups dictate how they will play the course and how many in a group. Courses should NEVER allow this especially on a weekend during peak season Very disappointed for the $115 it cost to play as it was a Fantastic course in the last 10 years but doesn’t seem much money is going back in it to make it the great resort course it used to be. Won’t be playing here again for awhile as it left a bad impression this time. Don’t forget us smaller groups and make the course into what we all know it was for...

We planned a week long golf trip to Missouri and Old Kinderhook was the last course on our stop. We had 7 people and were playing two rounds. When we planned our trip, we booked two rounds for early in the week but called back to change it to Friday instead. I think we forgot to cancel the rounds from early in the week and after we got home from out trip noticed a charge for $800 for the rounds we didn't show up for. When we called to dispute this they told us it was policy to charge for missed rounds. I understand this policy but feel they should have been more understanding. We did play two rounds on Friday at $200 per person for a total of $1400 spent. They had delays on our second round which caused us to miss the last 3 holes of the day (which we would have played had they been on time.) The course is nice but not sure if the customer service is worth the price of admission. In addition, be mindful that drinks cost an arm and a leg. Bought two drinks from the cart person (Gatorade) and was charged $10. This is resort golf and you'll pay the price for it. I'm rating this course on customer service as 1 star but the course itself is very nice. There are several other nice courses in the area that treated us much better. I've never had a course charge for a missed tee time and am very disappointed that they didn't even call or email us to explain why...
