Crappie King Cabins — Hotel in Canton

Absolutely fantastic. I was involved in a car wreck while passing through town and needed to stay the night in Canton. The EMT that helped us referred us to these cabins and called the owner to make sure they had one ready.

The cabin was immaculate shape and was far cleaner than most hotels I have stayed in. All the in cabin amenities were wonderful, from an awesome heater to an excellent television.

We asked about if there were any places in town to eat that we could possibly walk to, since I did not have a truck. Apparantly everything was closed, and the owners promptly made us a plate with sandwiches, chips, and cake, along with a bag of bottles waters.

The bed was a spacious and very comfortable double, which did just fine for the night we had to crash there. The shower was nice and hot, with great water pressure.

We are very thankful for the impeccable service and attention we were given in our time of need. We hope to return to stay, hopefully under different circumstances next time.

Bottom line: it is an excellent facility run by even better people with the largest hearts. Thank you so much...

I chose this place because of the consistent five star ratings. I thought I’d check it out but honestly thought they were too good to be true. They are the real deal!

Forget the cabins, the owners Donnie and Susan are amazing! They are genuine and welcoming. They had the cabins built and they are beautiful and spacious.

I was looking to get away from the city and the noise and this was exactly what I was looking for. Sitting on the porch anytime of day, they were no police sirens, no ambulance sirens, no honking or heavy traffic, honestly just crickets.

Originally I was going to go to on a certain weekend but speaking with Donnie, and telling him what I was looking for, he advised me that they were having an event that weekend and they were going to be very busy. Donnie suggested I go to the next weekend and I did and it was perfect!

I have yet to find people interested in giving you a great stay like Donnie and Susan. Do yourself a favor and...

I can't say enough good things about this establishment. Myself, my wife and our 8 children (all ours and 1 daughter in law) came to town for the Walleye Rodeo and the end of my grandfather's life. We rented 3 spacious, super clean, beautiful cabins right next to each other and were all accommodated. Donny and Susan were overly accommodating and friendly, making sure we were comfortable, had clean towels and anything else we needed. The rooms smell of clean cut wood and have everything you could possibly need from ice cold air to heat (which we didnt need this round), refridgerators, sinks, cups, bowls, all the dishes and silverware, cable tv, SUPER comfortable beds-and I HATE sleeping anywhere but my bed at home.
