M&D Enterprises & Lawnmower Shops-Canton — Local services in Canton

I found this company online and was so excited to have them be the company that I was going to put my storm shelter in my first home. I have only been in Oklahoma for one year and coming from California, we never needed storm shelter, so to find a company that was affordable and close and educate me on the shelters was great. Everything was going great, Bridget (the front desk/ receptionist) answered all my questions and help me understand everything. Well, one week before my shelter was getting installed, i called Bridget and said “I know that the guys need a certain amount of access to fit the truck to install my shelter, how much do they need?” She told me they only need at least 9feet wide and 13 feet in height. I was glad to hear cause I had that. Well install day came and the company that M&D uses to have shelters installed came. These men where disrespectful and rude. One gentalmen get out the truck and lights a cigarette in front of me, I am seven months pregnant too. Then I tell him to not smoke on my property and he throws the cigarette on my yard like it’s nothing, and rolls his eyes. The other guy before even measuring the access area in my yard, gets out of the truck and said, “ well ma’am we can’t fit here, this is not enough room for our truck. We need to take down about 50 feet of your fence and need a signed paper from your neighbor stating it’s okay to have our truck drive their yard.” And he was telling me my storm shelter needed to go smack down in the middle of my yard. I have over 4000 sq feet of yard and I don’t have anything in it yet, so this made me mad. He said, “why don’t you call the company and change your shelter to something else” These guys came to my house with their minds already set not to do my storm shelter. I told them to get off my lot and go. I called M&D and he sounded confused cause he has never heard such horrible service, and yes M&D did refund me fully. M&D is probably a great company with really nice people and they might be the best for lawn equipment but the company they use for the storm shelters are not good. I would be reviewing them if I knew the name of...

They will work hard to earn and to keep your business. They don’t just try to sell you he biggest, most expensive thing they have. Bridgette at the Canton store was excellent to deal with as we were shopping for a new mower. She was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. She listened to what we were wanting and helped us weigh out our options by showing us multiple units and allowing us to test drive them. Very patient and honest.
