Simple no frills 9 hole, executive/short course in the center of Cape Coral. Great for family, beginners a short game tune up, or a quick round you can finish in under 90mins. Easy to walk, carts available (No GPS). After Jan 1, (peak season) $27 p/p - w/cart. They do not reserve tee times, its first come first serve. Call ahead, sometimes they have outings/events that blackout available times.
Course is in good enough condition but it is pretty basic, there are two tee-boxes, blue and ladies/senior yellow, only three holes that actually require a Driver (1, 6 & 8) the Par 3's are kiddie-golf short,
Not many hazards makes game fun for novice, seniors and young players to learn or hone their game or enjoy a easy to maneuver round. Low impact play, won't wipe you out for the day.
If your a serious, intense, competitive golfer expecting to get your golf-on, this course may not be for you and you may expierence slow play with a mix of skill level, right down to full on beginners hacking away. It's likely to be that way and you will need patience this course is favorite to that type of play/players.
Tiny little screened in outdoor area for beverages, no beverage cart or oasis stations. Owners are good folks, however we made a mistake and paid for more players than our 4-sum, they would not refund cash, gave raincheck that our out of town guests could not use.
If all this works for you, it's a good short course...
Read moreCame here for my first time golfing with my dad. The lady at the front counter was extremely rude when we rented carts and clubs, setting two bags down without saying a word to us. After a bystander knocked down a bag of clubs she told us “that’s why you grab something when someone hands it to you.” I ushered my dad and brother out to the carts to avoid any more rude comments from the cashier woman.
When we returned, although the course was nice and well maintained, we ran in to more issues when leaving. We had two carts with a bag of clubs for each, and my dad ran in to make sure we bring the bags back up front before wasting time. The same rude lady who checked us in comes rushing out the door and says “i guess I’ll just grab the bags”. I tell her I can get it and we were just unsure of the proper procedure as we’re a bunch of newbies. She ridiculously told me “save it, I got it” while I was mid-way through offering to bring in my bag. When we got inside the guy who seemed to be managing things was telling my dad why it’s “so important” that the bags be brought inside 10ft from where the golf carts are because it’s in the middle of season and it’s quite busy. All this despite the parking lot being less than half full.
Can definitely say my family and I won’t be returning. Customer service is far from family...
Read moreThe course holes we saw were in reasonable shape. Greens are on small side. This is a first come first serve course, and unfortunately both times I have played here, is badly backed up after the first hole. Course management is happy to take your money, not making you aware of how many people are in the queue, or are on the course, or how slowly they are playing. There are no Marshals to ensure things keep moving. At multiple holes there were 4 and 5 groups of golfers waiting. If you play after 3:30 in Feb. there is very little chance of getting all nine holes in, in less than 2.5 hours. The consequence is multiple golfers circle back to the first hole, if is open to play it again. Course management frowns at this,(and admonishes you for it) as they claim they don’t know what’s going on. They also demand carts be back by 5:50 pm, in Feb. This sort of feels like willful blindness, as they know how many people are out there, and thus should know you can’t get 9 holes in, regardless of...
