Naomi’s BED & BREAKFAST — Hotel in Carney

On the outset Naomi seemed friendly and welcoming, but we should have left after the first night. I had a dietary issue the second day. Was it the breakfast she provided? I don’t know. Instead of offering a different choice the next day, I was informed that there was no seat at the table for me. My husband, who normally has a very small breakfast, was also told there was no seat for him at the table. Her rudeness is beyond belief for a person in the hospitality business. In addition, we weren’t given a choice to eat inside or out. We had to eat outside with traffic zooming by 25 ft away. The place is very clean but no toiletries are provided. Not even soap. Thank goodness I had a bar in my suitcase. We got only one washcloth, and the 2 pillows (1 for each) were thin and uncomfortable. I also found issue with her deceitfulness. Her name isn’t Naomi, it’s Tamara. She changes the name of her business as often as she gets negative reviews. She lies in her responses. It’s hard to let others know what to expect. With the clean, large, and comfortable rooms, unused and large backyard, comfortable livingroom but always occupied by her and her annoying music playing, I wish she were open to criticism and turn her...

Naomi’s is very clean and breakfast was good but you only get one choice. If you have a reaction to her food she won’t give you breakfast anymore. No option for a lighter breakfast. If you only want fruit and yogurt, no more breakfast for you. Don’t bring food in. You cannot eat on her fine china. She’ll take away your place at the table. ||No toiletries provided. No amenities. She often changes her business name to eliminate bad reviews. ||She could have a great business if she listened to comments. Rudeness to customers doesn’t help. Not really a B and B. More of a room rental and 1 studio apt in the basement about 350 sq ft. I was not allowed in the house except for breakfast 1 day which consisted of Lego Ego's , 1 turkey bacon and sausage link w/scramble egg, coffee and grapefruit juice. It was terrible, lol.. Non smoking site . Have to go across a busy street to smoke. The apartment was dirty had ants and not very welcoming. Just my opinion, I would rate it a 2 of 5 stars. Naomi was ok, definitely God fearing..........I so did not need a conversation about God on my vacation. I will say I am used to a higher standard of B and B's and maybe this place is normal hospitality service ...
