We were looking for a place to stay for the night after coming into MO from TN, and this place was one of the cheapest that wasn't an older place with exterior room doors. We did not realize it was across from a casino, which was a nice bonus. However, due to the fact that the hotel shares it's staff with the larger hotel across the street inside the casino, if you needed something, you had to use to phone at the front desk to page someone to come over and help you. The room itself was nice and clean, although small in size, but knowing it's basically a value casino hotel, that makes sense. The hotel itself was very clean and updated, as it is a completely remodeled hotel, so everything was very clean and nice and new. The bed was comfortable and the towels were very plush, although I did find it a little weird how the showers are set up, there's no shower door but only a stationary piece of glass that covers half of the shower so it makes it difficult to keep water from getting everywhere. Overall, I would stay here again.

Absolutely adorable hotel! Very clean hotel that does NOT have that "hotel" smell, which I definitely appreciated! The entire place has a modern farmhouse chic appeal to it. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. The room had a mini fridge. The bathroom had a walk-in shower. It was also very well lit and very updated. A slight annoyance was that the barn door for the bathroom door kept wanting to slide back open, which we solved by using a lotion bottle as a door stopper (and notified them to fix upon our departure)! LOL! The only real downfall is that there is no continental breakfast. Their free breakfast consists of granola bars and coffee. They do have a small selection of food items to purchase in the lobby if you wish to do so. Overall, it was totally worth the stay!

WOW! I was double booked at the Drury one town over and they paid for my first night here - I had no idea what to expect, as I am used to more national brands, but I was COMPLETELY SURPRISED and PLEASED with what I found - so much so that I canceled my second night at the Drury and was lucky enough to stay here again. Forget the free breakfast, didn’t need that from Drury as I had a nice big clean room, a comfy bed, a bath that was beautiful and the overall space was updated to reflect the modern times. Across the street from and owned by the casino that is also expanding. Thank you Farmstead, I’ll be back!

I was wanting a newer hotel to stay at and got so lucky when I found this place. Pulling up to the hotel it is absolutely adorable! Walking in I am excited because it is so nice and the young women working behind the desk were so welcoming! My father in law arrived before my husband and I and when we walked in they told us how nice he was. We talked about restaurants and one women was extremely helpful with her recommendations and it was an excellent meal! The room we slept in had a queen bed. The temperature of the room was perfect when we arrived. I would recommend a sound machine or ear plugs to drown out some of the noise of doors closing throughout the night. I’m assuming since the casino is next door people are gong in and out pretty late. The bed is very comfortable just watch out for the beautiful frame around the bed because it’s not gentle on the shin. I only hit it once then paid more attention! The shower is very nice. My husband is very tall and said it was a little small for him, but I am 5’1 and found it to be perfect for me! We had trouble getting the tv to work, but called front desk and the young lady came to our room and used a different remote to change something and then the tv worked perfectly with the remote in our room. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again! We didn’t get to visit the casino this time when passing through, but maybe next time. Oh just FYI the booking app I used said breakfast was available, but it was incorrect. I found this out from previous reviews so I was able to plan accordingly. They do have a few fast food restaurants not to far from the hotel that...

This is a shiny new hotel that fails miserably on the hospitality level. I won’t be back. The hotel and casino are located far off the highway in the small town of Caruthersville. There is no signage to direct you through the town. When I finally found the hotel, there is confusing signage directing you to “hotel drop off” and “hotel check in” at a building which I learned is an abandoned old casino. I’ll attach photos. After wandering through this deserted building, I found a checkin desk in the new casino but the clerk could not find my prepaid reservation. She was very rude about it, but I persisted until she said “oh, there it is.” She said she could check me in, but I would need to go to a different building to get the keys. So I drove to the actual hotel building where a clerk sat in an empty lobby looking at his phone. I asked him about the roundabout method to check in, and he said “They should probably change the signs.” I went to the casino for supper, but the only food service is at the bar. The daily special was chicken wings and tater tot basket. After an uncomfortable night with a noisy neighbors in the next room, I asked the desk clerk about breakfast options. She suggested a Casey’s convenience store in another town. So here’s the deal: if there is no breakfast available in the entire town of Caruthersville, then the hotel needs to step up and provide some type of breakfast bar. Until then, guests need to bring their own food. The management of this hotel needs to get its act together, or it won’t be in...
