4th Update So I do give credit where credit is due. The casino has very recently updated their restaurant hours- Sun-Thursday they are open till 10p and Friday/Saturday they are open till midnight. That is a huge improvement since there is no where else to get food in the city late at night. We also considered staying on comp there so now there is a later evening food option. Good work. Now fix ALL the Bill Breakers and that would be a huge help. Jackpot payouts have been a little quicker so that is a plus. Still have numerous very popular games that are either out of service, wont accept player cards/tickets and/or the buttons/screens are jacked. Example?? Eureka (screen is awful) and buttons on Fire Links along both walls either don’t work, are slow response or cracked… they are in rough shape. Dragon Links always have at least 2 out of service, some 3 reel games in high dollar area, and many games have recently been removed completely so lots of empty spaces. The games by the player club/soda bar need to go. That whole section is virtually empty except on giveaway nights. Need more Lightning, Dragon, Fire Link, & newer Huff and Puff games. These are always full in your casino and in every other casino. Lots of real estate not earning or giving customers a chance to play more popular games.
3rd updateA Saturday night with a hug grand prize giveaway- standing room only and the Bill Breakers are either out if service or it makes you go to the cashier which has 10-15 people on lime with 1 cashier. Then later in the evening the ATM's are out of money so back to line which is half way out the door and 1 cashier working with another woman who is counting money and not helping clear the line. This is not a serious casino whatsoever. I would highly advise to stay away from this casino on the weekends. Same issues on Friday's and Sundays had a ton of machines out of service and no bill breakers working-WTF. I dont usually advocate for people to be disciplined but someone needs to be fired. This is unacceptable and it is obviously a chronic issue along with many others. We had to wait almost an hour for a jackpot payout a few weeks ago during the week and the pit boss had to make a stern call over the radio to het someone to help. Unacceptable and we have never had these issues in a dozen states worth of casinos...
2nd Update so we have visited all the casinos within 85-125 miles of where we live. For those who like to gamble this is the place to go and I’ll explain why. Compared with Southland & Oak Grove this location has the best payouts. Which is really the reason why we visit the casinos. So I upped their stars to 3 (3.5 more like it) since many other casinos had the same negatives. Update 1- We will never go back on a Friday night. For starters this casino was not prepared to handle a weekend evening crowd. An ATM was down but at this place they only have a few. You can’t take out more than a certain amount which is crazy. All the Bill breakers were down except 2 and one wouldn’t break any tickets higher than $200. The cashier line was half way down the casino and took forever. We watched as multiple people and us were kicked off the line at the restaurant because they close at 10pm. But all of us were on line prior to that. What casino does that??? Not our fault they take forever to take an order. One person working the register and 2 behind the bar. There were at least a dozen-and-a-half games out of order. Card slots were not working in multiple games so you’re losing out on points. Multiple techs walking around in groups of three or just standing around talking all night throughout the casinos. Is this ALL intentional or just sheer negligence??? Either way it’s Shameful!...
Read moreI am writing today to tell you of a visit we had this weekend that was the WORST visit on anywhere I have been to. We arrived Saturday May10th around 3 pm. We had reservations with my sister and brother in-law to come and spend the night and celebrate my birthday. We checked into the hotel, went up to our rooms and put our luggage in them. We decided that we were hungry from the drive there and would go eat first. We walked down to the Casino. My husband had a beer and was finishing it on the walk down. We went past the security, even spoke to him, with my husband holding the beer, and he greeted back and wished us good luck. Did not say ANYTHING about the beer. We went over to the snack bar and ordered. We turned around and there was (I'm guessing) the head of security, an older lady with a cane and another security guard. She asked my husband if he had a beer he responded "yes" and stated the he was just finishing it and threw it away. She did not ask ANY more questions and just stated he would have to leave and could not return that night. I tried to explain to her that there were NO signs and that the security guard at the gate DID NOT inform us that it was not allowed. She was EXTREMLY RUDE and would not do anything but talk down to us!! I asked for someone above her and she stated there was no-one but I could talk to the State Trooper. I asked please can I. We had not done anything wrong that we saw. My brother in-law came over and took over the conversation and asked for more management. This lady would not listen to ANY reason. They came to an agreement to refund our Rooms and we went elsewhere. I feel it was EXTREMELY wrong for your head of security to punish my husband for your employee not doing his job. We have pictures of EVERYWHERE we went from our rooms to the casino and NO WHERE is there a sign. The ONLY sign about alcohol is LEAVING through the main doors, stating no Alcohol beyond this point. The lady was BEYOND RUDE and seem to have a HUGE complex and pushed her authority. You lost two paying guest rooms and 4 paying guest gamblers. I have NEVER been treated as rude as I was that day by that lady. If your business is treating guest and all about guest maybe you should look for a better head of security. I would be glad to show you all the photos I have of the hallways and elevators ALL the way down to the casino floor showing NO SIGNS about outside drinks or alcohol. I could understand if he was told not to bring it in and still did, but he WAS NOT TOLD. We were just trying to enjoy a nice birthday get away and your employees RUINED it. I feel like it we were discriminated upon by her. I urge you to review the video and it will show we did...
Read moreI called @ 2:53 to see if RV park was open. I was told it was. When I got there I picked a lot but was met by Tina who told me that there was no entrance from the north side. She kindly gave us a ride to the south side. I am a 100% disabled vet with a brace on the right knee. At the hotel we were told that the RV park was NOT open. I explained that we had been told it was open. Long story short, I showed her our offer of free rooms at the Farmstead but we have a dog. She told us we must get out of the RV park and could park with the semi's. Tina's husband, facilities maintenance told us to wait while he checked things out. We proceeded to play slots which would not accept our valid players cards. After playing 4 different slots my wife went to the players card to get another card. She was told there wasn't anything wrong with her card. That lady then told us that we could Stat at the RV park and that it would be comped but we had to register. After walking along that long fence the registrar was OUT. WE WENT BACK DOWNSTAIRS AND HAD A BURGER. MY WIFE WAS TOLD BY THE Cafe attendant that the clerk was back at her desk. I must say that Tina and her husband have great customer service skills but the registrar has been a nemesis of our for 15 years, no customer service skills whatsoever! In conclusion, the casino has several broken machines, lots of wasted space, no entry from the north, no handicap accessible entrance bak there. If you're in the casino floor and handicapped it's a long way around the fence to the elevator and to the registrars desk and back. In addition the RV cable does not work! We stayed only 1 of our three planned nights. We had been going to LADY LUCK every spring and fall for 15 years. NO MORE. IT WAS ALSO...
