We stayed there overnight as part of a week long road trip. The decor was so cute, very cabiny and obviously a recent remodel. The king bed was probably the most comfortable motel/hotel bed I've ever slept upon! The room was very clean and included a microwave and fridge plus coffee station and a small table with two chairs. The WiFi worked for my husband who had business to conduct during our trip which was a big deal to have. No breakfast but I recommend Grandma's Restaurant down the street for that. I highly recommend this place. Not only was it comfortable, it had a very reasonable rate. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Cozy, mountain feel, clean room with 2 full beds. Shower isn't huge, but is more updated with heavy tile instead of plain white porcelain and has a powerful spray that you'll stand under longer than normal. :-) Kitchen has stove, microwave, oven and reg size fridge. Tv has Ruku with Netfix and Hulu. Gather around the fire pit out front for s'mores at night. Plenty of picnic tables to eat on out front too. Staff is very friendly. Right across the street from Howdy's gas station if you need anything. Will stay here again.

We stayed in room 3. I read a recent review about this same room and it was extremely exaggerated. The room was clean, kitchen was well appointed. No visable mold in shower. This isn't a 5 star resort and they don't charge as if they are so be realistic about expectations. The check in process was very easy. The outside does not look like the photos but is still in pretty good shape. The only issue was the shower head. It is SO strong it was painful. No way to turn it down without making the water cold.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this motel was so bad I feel obligated to warn others. We stayed in room 3 checking in on 7/11/2025 for 2 nights. We farm and ranch and are not uppity people. I used to rodeo many, many years ago and stayed in some pretty questionable places, but now I can honestly say that this is by far, the worst place I have ever stayed. It wasn't worth $50.00 per night, let alone $170.00. By the time the owner remembered to call me back, we were already being charged for the next day and she said it was too late to leave without keeping the money for that night and would not refund us, so we stayed.|From the moment we walked in, the room reeked of musty mildew. It was so strong we went to the store to buy air freshener, but it barely helped — the odor was baked into the room.|The shower had visible mold all around the floor and base of the walls (see attached photo). It was black in some spots, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The bathroom was completely impractical — no counter space to put toiletries, and no closet or dresser anywhere in the room to store clothes. We were forced to live out of our suitcases on the floor.|The chairs look like they were throwaways taken from a dumpster. The cabinet above the stove is grease stained from not being cleaned. The sponge for the kitchen sink was wet and moldy. Even the pot scrubber was separated and needed to be thrown away and replaced. There are no knives, spoons or forks.|One of the worst things we found was in the bathroom cup holder: a used razor blade cover was underneath the stacked plastic cups, and the bottom of the holder was filled with what looked like dried toothpaste spit (see photo). Absolutely disgusting and unsanitary.|Even the light fixtures had mold speckled across the inside and cover lenses (also pictured). Everything about the room felt damp, dirty, and neglected. There was food under the edge of the bed, clearly stating that the floors had not been swept in some time.|We texted the owner pictures of everything — including the mold, the razor blade cover, and the filthy cup holder — and received no apology, no offer to switch rooms, no refund, no discount. Nothing.|To top it off, we went to get ice at 1:00 p.m. and found the office locked up with the "OPEN" sign still lit, and no one answering the door or phone.|This wasn’t just a dirty room — it was an actively unhealthy and unsafe environment. It’s clear the owners do not care about cleanliness, guests, or even basic hygiene standards. In the email we received for checkout, the owner asked us to leave a review so here it is. |Photos attached. Do yourself a favor and stay...

After crawling around the Idaho backcountry for a week, camping along various mining roads, creeks, and rivers, we decided that some modern amenities (running water, showers) would be nice. Particularly given the forecasted thunderstorm activity on the night in question.

As soon as we got back into an area with cell coverage, we did a quick Google search for a place to stay in/around Cascade. This property had numerous excellent reviews and recommendations, and the one negative review I read was so hilarious that it actually piqued my interest even further.

Now, I’ve worked in the hospitality industry in remote locations, and I’ve traveled extensively. I’m well acquainted with the challenges of managing guest expectations, and what it takes to run a “nice place”. Knowing that Cascade was fairly small, rural, and on the road… I wasn’t really expecting much. I would have been happy with a clean bed, a dry room, and a working shower and toilet.

Sean and Megan managed to thoroughly exceed my expectations.

Not necessarily much to look at from the outside, we were really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the amenities we got with the room we booked. We were able to get the last room they had available (2 queens / kitchen), and check-in was a breeze.

The room was immaculate. Newer hardwood type flooring, spacious shower with excellent water pressure and copious amounts of hot water (which was a very big deal to us after a week without it), comfortable beds with top quality mattresses, linens, and bedding… and the kitchen! A smaller fridge, full range/oven, well stocked with pots/pans and utensils, all clean and almost new. WiFi, air conditioning, literally everything I could hope to find after a week in the woods.

Sean and Megan as hosts were also very engaging and helpful, providing us with lots of useful information about the various businesses and things to do in the area.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay whether you’re on the road to elsewhere, or staying in the...

My wife and I tried to make a reservation here this morning for the next three days but were unable to do so because of the angry troll that answered the phone and then literally hung up on us. Whoever answered the phone on 10/16/17 around 0630 sounded very angry to have to do their job and clearly did not appreciate being asked a difficult question like "do you guys give tripple A discounts". This graduate level question clearly befuddled this particular minion and caused her to then yell at my wife "you call me this early and ask questions like that after canceling! Don't ever call here again!!" followed by a quick hang up.

Well sugar blossom, I don't know who refused to cuddle with you this morning but it wasn't us. WE HAVE NEVER CALLED YOU BEFORE and surly will never call you again. Not only will we never recommend this place but because of your disgusting attitude we will talk down on it any chance we get. I hope whoever is in charge of this place reads this review and either terminates you or at least sends you to Carebear cuddle retreat so you can get your issues figured out.

Consider yourself lucky to get one star since I can't give you a zero. You cost your company imediate business and future business with your garbage attitude. Get it together sweetheart, the world doesn't operate around...
