Cimarron Golf Resort — Hotel in Cathedral City

Cimarron only deserves a negative rating. We stayed in March 2022. Our rate for 8 days was $3000.00. The front desk clerk was very rude and she was never nice. The two bedroom condo with garage was a shambles. The kitchen sink cabinet had no doors exposing the garbage disposal and plumbing. The toilet had mildew rings, shower had mildew, carpet was shredding, cob webs in corners, cabinets worn and wood splitting. We asked for a cleaning and advised only once per 8 days and they would be cleaning on Sunday (that was the day we would be checking out. I said I would pay for a additional clean and they said they only could not accommodate as the policy wouldn't allow since covid started 2 years ago. However the door sign to have room cleaned was in the corner by front door. I would think that during the last 2 years it would have been removed from room. When we checked out we left a I Pad charger in the outlet. We called several hours later and had been told they did not have time to check but would later and give us a call to pick up. Several days past and we called again and the front desk clerk was again rude as always during every interaction. She stated that the room was occupied and they could not look and that it had not been turned in and that was all she could do. I was out of...

I'm so disappointed in this "resort". I've been coming off and on for years now the Cimarron Vacation rentals and have usually experienced good things. However, I've never experienced the front desk staff being so consistently rude. Even the smallest requests like additional TP were met with a sassy response. The grounds crew and folks delivering towels were great though. The room smelled like smoke and was not well-cleaned. The carpet was disgusting and stained throughout & the furniture was from the 1970's and stained. Even the mattresses were stained which is more than gross. The bathroom and kitchen floors were not mopped and my feet were black the first day I was walking around the room. Needless to say, I wore shoes the rest of the time I was there. The bathroom floor had hair (not ours) and was filthy in the corners. When I asked for a different room, they told me to check out a 3rd party booking app to see if there was any other spaces; I even asked about the room directly next to us that never had the lights on and the staff was just so unhelpful. This place needs new staff, new management and each room gutted and redone with current and CLEAN accommodations. I...

Price it's fair. Decor it's way outdated and cheaply made. One of my biggest problems is on the (a) units the window next to the front door has no coverings ore blinds and the poarch light is a dusk to dawn with a bright light, no off switch and security casing around it. Lights up the entire living room and bedroom making it impossible to sleep out there if had more guest.

And the other thing was one night I came in and my key card stopped working. So happens to be the night they decided to blood have anyone work the desk over night shift....i slept parked outside the gates...
