DO NOT STAY HERE! Or atleast in room (213) We drove in from south Alabama so we could work the June jam Friday night we got there around 8:30/9 and had to grab a bite to eat so we could get up earlier for work came back after grabbing a bite to eat and brought our stuff up and checked for bed bugs in the mattress and didn’t see anything so we cut the lites off and went to sleep it was late had no lights on so obvisouly we wouldn’t be able to see ROACHES in the dark. Woke up early Saturday morning left our stuff in the room went and worked and got off around 11:30/12 Saturday night got to the hotel went to eat dinner and had a baby ROACH crawling on my leg I obvisouly thought I was crazy and figured maybe it was a spider or something from walking in outside. So I get a shower and everything and get crawled into bed and about 30 mins into us laying in bed ANOTHER baby roach comes crawling from being the night stand onto the alarm clock I panicked cause here’s the second one we seen so we killed it and started checking everything and ANOTHER ROACH crawls from behind the night stand we call the desk at this point so they know we aren’t crazy and he asked if he could come check at this point there was one crawling all around the night stand and he comes up there and he seen the one crawling and says “ohhh a small one” I DO NOT CARE IF YOU NEEDED A MICROSCOPE and he just smooshes it with his finger and said “I’ll leave a note” and walks out , here it is 2:30 in the morning we have worked 12 plus hours and we were so tired we didn’t know were else to go especially after spending 400+ for two nights. We go to check out this morning and the girl at the desk said we can get a 20% discount like are you kidding me. How disturbing there is no way in hell I will ever stay here again. The lack of care for the fact that baby roaches were crawling from behind the night stand is just unacceptable and we will be disputing the charges and contacting corporate with the pictures of the baby roaches I have. Thanks for nothing. (Adding pictures of them below may...
Read moreI've stayed at Quality Inn before and it was a good visit, however, the last few times haven't been as good. On my 1st stay, I decided to become a Choice Hotel member..I feel that was a waste of my time. If you book online thru Choice Hotels, you're told that you get the lowest and best price..I didn't find that true. On My last stay, the rate was exactly the same as a AAA member and because my stay included a Sunday night, I was supposed to get bonus points, when I asked the clerk, she had no knowledge of this (note: there was a huge stand-up sign in the lobby advertising this special). Also, although I made my reservation online, when I was checking in, my room request was wrong and even though it was after check-in, there were no rooms ready. It took almost 45 minutes for my check-in. Also, during the night, there was alot of noise above my room and my AC unit wasn't working. I tried to call the front desk and I never got through, the phone just rang and rang. The manager was there the next morning when I checked out as well as the clerk that checked me in..when I told the manager about the visit and the issues during the night..she was hesitant about what to do, and the clerk started explaining to me how to use the AC unit. What? Did she really think I didn't know how? The manager also didn't know about the bonus points and told me I would have to call Corporate for that..the clerk went to my room to see if the unit was working and returned to say it was working fine and began instructing me on how to use it again!? I was getting angry at this point, so the manager took half off my room and as I was leaving, I heard the clerk say that she thought I was lying..WHAT? BTW, that credit showed on my credit card as a pending CHARGE for 4 days..before it finally posted...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel October 7th and October 9th. My stay on October 7th was fine. However, my stay on October 9th was terrible and I will never stay at another Quality Inn. The manger was awful and tried to make me feel like the problems were my fault. First the air conditioner turned itself off in the middle of the night. I woke up sweating at 2 am to find the power on, but the unit itself off. I turned it back on and was eventually able to fall back to sleep. Then at 7:30 the next morning the power went off in my room and an alarm was going off at the front desk. The matter was resolved by 8 am. When I spoke to the manager about my issues at first he tried to explain how the wall system worked. That was insulting already. I am a woman- not an idiot. Then he explained how a breaker worked and said I was supposed to switch that. As if this is all normal and I am somehow responsible for not having A/C because I didn't switch a breaker. Power surge breakers in a hotel room are not the responsibility of the guest! Then he said the power surges were all across the town. They were not. I verified that on our way out of town with another business. I honestly was looking for a comped room or at least a discount or free room for my next stay. When I asked about that- he claimed that I already had a deep discount as rooms that night went for $150. I booked my room weeks in advance and the average price for all the rooms was $55. I did not have some special discount, I paid full market rate at the time of my booking. I was livid by this point. I will never stay at this hotel again and I will not book at any Quality Inn. This is not how you run a business or...
