My family rented the banquet room for an event back on 05/22/21, during this event the AC was not getting cold & they informed us that they had someone coming out to check it out. So being under the impression that it would be fixed we decided to book the room for a event scheduled for 06/26/21, giving them a month to have the AC issue take car of. Fast forward to the first week of June, we were informed that someone did come out but the AC still wasn't working properly and that they had someone else coming to check it out. Fast forward to 06/21/21 we are informed that they will need a whole new AC unit. So 5 days before our scheduled event they inform us of this and they have no time frame for when they will have this issue taken care of. They do offer to reduce the rental rate for half price but we are in Texas it's 200 degrees (not really 200 but hot as hell). So I speak with the manager and inform her that portable ac unit can be rented but I feel the owner should be paying to rent the AC because it's their business & we shouldn't be responsible for having to rent something to cool a room that we are renting. Well the owner's response (according to Tabitha the manager) was "well if you do rent the portable AC I will still have to pay for the electricity used to power it, so all I can do is reduce the rental rate like I stated before" Very poor customer service and no we didn't want anything for free but atleast rent a room that our guest would be comfortable in, not burning up! We will never use this place again and I advise everyone else to find somewhere that care about their customers because this...
Read moreThe hotel was nice, clean, and comfortable. However, it says it is "pet friendly" and it is not at all. My family and I have a small dog that we left in the room while we went down for breakfast. I received a call from Tabitha, the GM, at the front desk stating she needed to speak to me. She stated in the 30 minutes we were at breakfast she received 4 phone calls complaining about barking. Our dog barks when she is left alone. If animals making noise is a problem maybe you shouldn't have a "pet-friendly" hotel. We normally don't travel with our dog but this was a last minute trip and had no other option than to bring her with us. Tabitha claimed she had to comp the other guest's rooms because our dog barked when we left her to get breakfast. This is the only time our dog barked during our entire stay. Tabitha asked that if we left again please make sure the dog didn't bark, I informed her that when we left again we would be checking out and if she choose to comp another guest's room that was between her...
Read moreVery nice staff and very clean and smells new and clean . Stayed over a month there and had a lot of problems with my credit card .I had to give them access to my card and I ended up paying an extra eight hundred for someone elses room .I am homeless and got my income tax back and that was all the money that I had and I have been really sick and think I may have cancer and had plans of using that money to go to the doctor . But I was refunded partial of what they over charged me and I had to live on what I had so I wasn't able to go to doctor and still haven't received all of my money back . So it was all wonderful until I had no more money and they didn't reserve my room that I was already in for the next day after I called in and told Tracey boyd that I was staying and she never put it in so about two the next day I was thrown out . Because the room was reserved for someone else with my...
