Was here for an event recently. The staff was initially friendly enough. The beds were clean. That was about the end of the good parts.

As other reviews say, the hotel is extremely dated and in desperate need of a rehab. Peeling wallpaper present throughout.

First night the television did not work. Maintenance walked up a paper list of channels to tell me they had to call someone to reset it. Remainder of the night it regularly froze.

The next morning an outlet had simply stopped working completely. The fridge (more on that in a second) also stopped working on the other side of the room. Maintenance responded after a phone call, over an hour wait, and a visit to the front desk and eventually got the fridge working. They began to leave without addressing the outlet until reminded the wall outlet had stopped working. It appears they just “jiggled” it to get it working, which made me worry about the wiring slightly.

The fridge was something I expect from a low end budget franchise. It required you to regularly press a button inside the fridge for it to chill or it would get warm. I don’t know if it’s supposed to run otherwise or not, but it didn’t, meaning you had to press the button every two hours or it would turn off. The result was almost like keeping food in a styrofoam cooler but somehow worse. The second time it stopped working we just didn’t bother calling maintenance as we were leaving the next day.

Housekeeping did not restock coffee cups over a 3 day stay and we had to explicitly ask for coffee pods to drink out of solo cups we purchased at a nearby Sheetz.

The toilet ran on and off throughout the stay, which was fairly maddening.

On the last day of a large event with people checking out, the call button on the elevator to go down from the second floor simply stopped working. You ended up having to haul suitcases down the stairs - where housekeeping staff would congregate at the bottom of them in the stairwell to chat with each other so you felt like you were interrupting a break each time.

The on site food was horrendous. The Cardinal restaurant while we were there had obviously decided that was the weekend for a new point of sale system to be installed, so waits for seating and food despite there being little traffic both times we tried it were well over an hour. The $21 fish and chips was an obvious Cisco brand fish plank on soggy chips - probably about $2 worth of food - and worse than a public school lunch. To top it off, the server upon being handed a $20 to cover $4 on the bill left after everyone but one member of our group paid insisted he had no change in what seemed to be an attempt to get us to tip the full change balance. Once we insisted on change he pulled a wad of ones and fives from his pocket to make the change. He would have actually gotten the change as a tip had it not been for that.

On check-in there were no luggage carts - only a couple were available for an event of over 1,500 people. A member of our group then found a room of at least 10 carts that were not being put out.

Other members of our group booked their higher end rooms expecting a fridge as advertised to find no fridge in the room. It was very hit or miss on whether amenities advertised were actually available.

Overall, I would not suggest it. The hotel seems to be struggling financially and the cost cutting measures they are putting in place are extremely noticeable and negatively impact the stay. I’ve stayed in places worse than this without complaints before but they weren’t Hiltons so I knew what to expect. This place may have the name, but it doesn’t have the basic level of comfort and amenities one expects...

I chose this hilton hotel based off its location to the airport. My son had an departing international flight and we were expecting a snow storm so I decided to get a room as close to the airport as possible.

I chose a king suite since we didn't want to sleep on double beds and he was only staying one night and he could sleep on the couch. The room was very large and had lots of furniture. The room does have a very large 65" TV. The mattress sagged alot when laid in and the furniture was very old and dated. The room had no frig or microwave. We brought food since we didn't know how bad the roads would be and didn't want to go driving around in the winter storm. We requested a frig and one was brought to our room.

The quality of the room isn't what I was expecting. For 6 years I traveled for work and stayed exclusively in Hiltons hotels. I would average 50 or more nights a year. The room was old, dated, and not very clean. Dust everywhere!!! I had to clean the TV remote with a wet wipe it was so dusty. The TV and dresser, the curtain, the bathroom floor, and I made the mistake of looking under the bed when checking out. I will include pictures of all this.

The biggest issue was the noise. We could see all the way around the door to the hallway. The door didn't seal to the door frame. All noise came straight through. People talking, doors opening and shutting. I placed blankets and towels at the base to try and dampen the sound. The room next to us, we could hear everything. Coughing, sneezing, talking at a normal volume. Bring earplugs if you stay here.

Parking, I paid for parking ahead of time but it's not necessary. Apparently the pay for parking is if your leaving your vehicle longterm and using the lot for airport parking. When I question parking and did I need to display something in the window, I was asked, if I was leaving the vehicle. I stated no, and the parking fee was returned. The garage was a plus for the snow storm. When they plowed the lot people's cars got buried.

Breakfast, it's $23 a person for a standard hotel breakfast. It's eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Some people had tickets to give the staff, I think they were food vouchers but not sure. I lost diamond status so maybe I didn't qualify for those.

All and all not the Hilton experience I was hoping for. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you can sleep...

Let me just start off with, I never do reviews. So, not only will I possibly help another person from making the same mistake I made, but this hotel in my opinion needs to be shut down for at least a month or so. Let me explain, the rooms are decent size, I booked business room - since I was attending on a business trip. The bathroom shower was probably the best thing I liked about the entire hotel, it had a rain shower and shower head separate, which was overall a nice shower.

The front desk staff were horrible, 0 personality from the person who checked me in, no smiling, honestly felt like I was at haunted house for Halloween.

The housekeeping staff all wear airpods and none of them answer questions, say hello in the hallways or smile. Again, I'm getting haunted hotel vibes here. I will say, even though the professionalism isn't there with anyone I encountered- that's not why I picked this location.

I live in NYC and I hardly get the opportunity to enjoy a pool or jacuzzi. So my wife joined me on my trip, so during our 2nd night we finally found some spare time to enjoy the amenities.

If you get anything from my review take this: DO NOT USE THE POOL. First thing we saw was a gentleman standing in middle of the pool, there was huge stain behind him on the middle of pool and my wife and I thought he was pooping in the pool. (Wish i took pictures) Thankfully, he was not, it was just a stain on the floor. So, we decided to still go in regardless that the pool seemed old.

Now, I grew up in Florida with a pool in my backyard, so I understand how to take care of a pool. The pool walls are full of allergy and disgusting. The amount of chlorine and chemicals in this pool burnt our skins, private areas and after taking 3 showers and scrubbing ourselves down, we had a miserable next 2 days. I was so upset, I requested the GM information and Don Anderson did not respond to my messages. I believe someone who actually cares about people's health, needs to shut this pool down immediately.

The hotel needs a new GM and they need to use their convention center to bring the entire Hilton staff for a meeting on Customer Excellence. The crazy part of this usually when you have these type of problems, it's due to short staff situations. The hotel had an abundant amount of staff present, the management team needs to change...
