Yes, it is close to the airport as every other post has said which is great for walking bad for noise. We had to drive through a Federal building parking lot in order to get to the hotel. A little confusing. Check-in went fine. Went to our room to open the door to find a strong, musty, moldy smell. Went to the tiny bathroom to wash my hands to then find A fast rusty drip of water that I could not fully rinse my hands up. The website advertises a restaurant which is defunct. A shuttle service that does no longer run. A free drink with check-in, that is not there. The pool was filthy, but was cleaned up later in the week and is highly guarded by an attack iguana. It will not hesitate to come after you and strike you with its tail which happened to my travel mate. Many many stairs. A lot of uphill. Many chickens, roosters, and cats that run wild. Which might be a plus to some people or a minus to others you decide. The amenities, coffee and muffins can range from warning to morning, depending upon who’s working the front desk. You might have yesterday‘s coffee that morning or fresh coffee. That to me is very strong that will grow hair on your chest. You might get muffins you might not ,the muffins are prepackaged from the store. The front desk staff is mostly pleasant. Aside from lying to me about yes the coffee was fresh, but it was from yesterday along with the fruit water, which is water with different fruit dumped in was all left from yesterday. I assumed from the state of the resort ,term used lightly, That they had not put in any money since the hurricanes in September 2017. Granted that was a huge ordeal to undertake, but if if you’re going to reopen your Establishment, you need to clean it up. Much of the wood is rotted. Things are rusty such as the ice machine ,lock mechanism’s ,gates, etc. and much more. I have to admit this was the worst place I had ever stayed. They did move us from our room that was moldy and musty the next day to a place that did have running water. After telling us they couldn’t move us at all. So I don’t know what happened there, but glad it did. I would definitely never ever suggest this place to anyone. We didn’t plan on renting a car because we were told that things are so close that we could walk while that was not true and we ended up spending more money to rent a car for a few days. . I think that is a must though for anywhere in St. Thomas. My advice would be to go to St. John and don’t even bother. P.s. I just looked at some of the photos on this site ,if you click on photos above 90% of them have been taken before the hurricane or have been taken off property. THERE IS NO BEACH!!!!! THERE IS NO RESTAURANT!!!!!! The pictures that have the rundown mess in the picture, that is what it looked like when I was there January 2025. Choose wisely..

Buyer beware. This poor place needs some TLC and investment, asap. Don't come here for "vacation" - this is just a place to stay out of necessity. We stayed only because it is directly next to the airport & our flight had been cancelled. (Literally everyone else we talked to was in the same situation - there by necessity, not choice.) On the plus side - the front desk staff was very, very kind. I appreciated their friendliness very much, in light of the stressful circumstances. The property is run-down. There is trash literally everywhere - look around the landscape and you will see hangers, discarded bottles, rusty parts, ....you name it. Vending machines were mostly empty / sold out. The once-automatic sliding door to lobby didn't work without you physically pulling it open and closed. The room was like a motel room - it did the job of providing a place to sleep but was very minimal and dated. No mini fridge, crunchy sheets, tiny bathroom that was "surface clean" but not clean-clean (don't drop anything onto the floor...my eye makeup was dead to me once it met the floor near the toilet and I noticed the filth). The "beach" is closed off - just a mess of concrete crumbling into the sea. I imagine this place was once quite nice, but now just a cheap motel feel. The staff was a plus - friendly, helpful. The food at the bar was surprisingly pretty decent. The view of the ocean is lovely. Aside from that, not a place you want to spend vacation time. What I find most distasteful is the way that the property owner / manager responds to these honest, accurate on-line reviews -- no acknowledgement of their shortcomings, only denials and insults. Truth bomb: You need to consider some basic customer service principles and take them to heart. And hire some staff to clean up the garbage all over the property. AIRPORT VISITORS: Do not be conned by taxi drivers. You do not need a taxi to get to this hotel. It is literally right around the corner from the airport. A five-minute walk. Even my 7-year old did it with no complaints - and he complains about everything. Just walk up the incline of the airport driveway and do a U-turn up the hill. Some of the taxi drivers are really unethical and will charge you $50 for a one-minute drive. Mine did -- and when I complained he insulted and threatened me. Good times.

Our flight landed at 8am and checkin wasn't till 4pm, thankfully they offered to store our luggage for us untill we could checkin. At 4pm while tying to checkin we were informed us that they lost our reservations. After we provided proof of our reservations they tried to claim that if was for one room with 2 double beds, we booked 2 villas both with king beds. After giving them our copy of the reservations again they found our rooms. While filling out paperwork we find out that they are still undergoing repairs from the hurricane damage. The repairs could effect the hot water temperature, water pressure, room availability, wifi connection and the main pool was shut down. However they have a shuttle that runs to and from the beach for the guest convenience. At this point we just want to get to our room to shower and get ready for dinner. Imagine our surprise to find out that our room was not a king bed it was 2 double beds. So we go back to the front desk to inform them this is not the room we reserved. That's when they finally admit they gave our room away but they would have it available the next day, if we wanted to change then we could. Why couldn't they of told us any of this at 8am when we got there? I would love to know! They didn't even offer any kind of compensation for the inconveniences!!! If the view wasn't so pretty and the daytime bartenders weren't so cool, I would of given them a 1 star rating.

Where do I start? This place is unbelievably run down. No working tv. No washcloths in our room and no pool towels. . When I complained they sent a remote that doesn’t work. No working pool lights inside the pool and out. So in other words it’s pitch black and completely unsafe. Pool tiles are missing everywhere and covered in black algae. Good luck navigating the stairs which are crumbling and falling apart. No restaurant as advertised. No laundry as advertised . The walls are so paper thin you will get zero peace and quiet during your entire stay. If you call the front desk to complain there is a very good chance absolutely nothing will be done about it.There was a party going at the neighborhood close by until 330am and then started back up at 545 am. I complained to the desk that the music was literally shaking the walls . I had to call the police 3-THREE times! And still nothing was done the music would come right back on even louder. All the front desk said was “sorry “ . Sorry does not come close to cutting it. I can handle all of the other complaints with no problem..but getting no sleep is not acceptable. I demanded my money back from last night and was told no. I should get my money back for every night we are staying in this hovel. If you are thinking about coming here it will be a monumental mistake! Go anywhere else. It will be better than this place. The apathy of the staff here is disgraceful. We spent many thousands of dollars to get to this horrible place and if you come here your vacation will be completely ruined. The only thing halfway decent is the view. We have 7 more days in this craphole and we want out right now. They refuse to refund our money. Now the latest mishap involves the pool turning green and you won’t want to put your big toe in the water. So it’s 100 degrees and we can’t use the pool. There are a few people working here who actually care about this place and their jobs but unfortunately their hands are tied by poor ownership and no supervisor or manager on site. It is not pleasant to know that hardworking people are just ignored by their bosses. So unfortunately my review is not going to change. This place needs to be taken over by an owner who cares about his guests. Update Tuesday night..the same crazy loud party music from Saturday night is back on again. I called the desk to complain and I literally got laughed at by the clerk. This place is literally the worst experience traveling I’ve ever had by far and there is not a close second. I’m warning all of you.. heed my warning or you will join me in having the worst experience of your life. So another update from last night. An apparently disgruntled guest checked out early yesterday and set his alarm to go off full volume at 130 AM ! Needless to say it was yet another night with hardly any sleep. Not sure what type of person could possibly do something like that to other people who are staying here but that’s the way it has been this whole week. What should have been an amazing experience has been the opposite. We don’t ever want to come back to the Virgin Islands. While we met some very cool people here, there is an underlying hostility towards tourists from alot of locals. Doesn’t make sense considering tourism is the main source of income for this place. Puerto Rico absolutely blows this place away . My advice is...

My best friend, and her friend found this hotel due to its proximity to the airport and the pictures that were posted. We all chipped in and got a room to accommodate 4 people. As it was three adults and a child. When we checked in, the room we purchased was not the room that was provided. We were provided cot for someone to sleep on which was reminiscent of a lawn chair with a thin twin mattress to top it off. We were told that the hotel was overbooked, and as soon as a room was available, that we would be placed into a room to accommodate us. We stayed in this room for two nights before we could be moved. The best thing of the room was the view, as you could see Lindbergh Bay and watch the planes landing and taking off. The morning/afternoon staff (De’Louise) was a pleasure and should run this hotel. The overnight front desk who also stated that he was the Operations Manager was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, at his job and has NO customer service experience. The Night Security Guard and Night Maintenance Man definitely saved the night when we were finally placed into the room with two beds that we initially paid for. As we went to bathe the child, we realized that there was no hot water. We went to the front desk with complaints after all that we had already experienced with this place. We were a bit frustrated and just wanted to take hot showers, and the Operations Manager who was working the front desk seemed to be bothered with us and have a bit of an attitude when we inquired about maintenance to get hot water. I do not know who is running this hotel, but this man should not be in Operations, as it may be part of the reason why the hotel is still in rough shape. This Operations manager also tried to tell us that the phone in our room did not work because of “the Hurricane.” He also said that our TV was out of order because of the satellite that was damaged by “the Hurricane.” Now, if in fact this were true, then why did the room with two beds have 4 channels, whereas the room with the one bed and cot had just static and a dead phone line?? Also wasn’t Hurricane Maria the last major storm, which happened in Sept 2017 (I live in FL, so we were also slightly affected.) I will just say that if you can spend a bit more, maybe worth your time to stay elsewhere. As the best features of this hotel was the walkability to the airport (literally walked off my flight and up the hill to check in, don’t waste $30 on the scam cabs as they charge per person and per bag.) And also the views. Other than that, scroll through and read AS MANY of these reviews as you can before you decide to stay here!...
