We planned a quick Spring Break getaway this April to Treetop Hideaways and we're so glad we did. It was a fantastic experience with Joy and Jess taking care of minor details at the beginning of our adventure that made everything worthwhile. The location is spectacular, with the Incline Railway and lovely St. Elmo area only a few minutes drive away. The treehouses are at the base of Rock City - you can see the area right in front of the the treehouses from the observation overlook at Rock City. There are plenty of great places to eat and restock in the immediate area even though you're given a few sundries to get you started in the treehouse. Downtown Chattanooga is literally a 15-minute straight shot, too. But with such a quaint abode, you may just want to spend an afternoon chilling out like we did.
We stayed in Elements and it has a couple of great outdoor spots for sitting and enjoying the surrounding nature. There are also a few short trails to allow you to explore the small waterfalls coming down the mountain. We also had a fire one night in the fire pit down the hill from the house. The treehouse itself is well-equipped with climate control, an incredible shower, comfortable beds, microwave, and small fridge to store items. It was an amazing adventure and we were thankful to have experienced a stay in an authentic treehouse. We believe everyone should take an opportunity to do so!
I promise you that Joy and Jess will take care of your needs with expediency and a great attitude! They took good care of us, and the vacation itself makes for a great story! Give them a shot - and good luck finding...
Read moreThis place is so good; I almost don’t want others to know! We brought kids, but would be great for friends or with your spouse. Very clean and safe location. Amazing to have everything you need, but tucked into the trees with no TV so you can focus on the people you’re with. The interior design is so clever and bespoke. I do wish I had brought a portable speaker to stream music bc the WiFi works well. Other than that, management has thought of everything! Dogwood unit has a cool outdoor shower that was a big hit with my young kids. The smokeless fire pit and all the gear are provided to make s’mores easy. The porch has a patio table where we ate our take out, on provided picnic blanket and eco-friendly disposable bamboo utensil/plates. The fridge has filtered water pitcher, and they offered pour over set up for coffee. In general, Chattanooga is super family friendly with minimal traffic, and a ton to do: Rock city, ruby falls, zoo, aquarium, river park, art museum, train museum, local restaurants with outdoor areas for kids are common, close to national parks/trails, and a rock climbing gym downtown...
Read moreFirst of all, the bathroom is beautiful. It has a enclosed tree that you can see when you’re taking a shower. Speaking of the shower, it’s spacious and has more than one shower head for the perfect shower. It also has some plants in there for a nice nature feel. Adding to that, the bathroom has a heated floor. The main room has a comfortable couch, a s’more pack on the counter with the sink, a mini-fridge, and a microwave. The treehouse doesn’t have a tv, but it does have extremely fast internet. The front door lock is secure and modern. The beds are comfortable, and, from the beds on the loft, you have a view of the trees and the sky from the partial glass ceiling. It has a pretty trail leading up to it and has some smaller trails you can hike on. It has a fire pit with chairs, a grill, a grill kit, a blowtorch, and marshmallow roasting sticks. I enjoyed my stay and I...
