Aweful don't book here. If I could give it no stars I would. Way to expensive for what you get. Was such a disapointment. When you get there you have to call and wait for some one to come unlock the door and get your room key. The lady that was working looked like she was in her nightgown and just woke up, (and it was 3pm) she almost fell out the door. The front office was not clean and looked like a room in someones house with a desk...(that should have been my first clue) as we were checking in the lady took our credit card and all the sudden says ill be right back and ran across the street with our card. She didnt seam to have an answer when we caught up with her it wasn't professional at all. (I checked our bank statements and they were good...but I don't know) And there was no customer service. It was like here's your key and that was it. We get to our room and the best thing I can say about it is that it was clean. Our room was a "suit" 2 rooms and a living area and full kitchen. First off the fridge was not turned on so we had to figure that out on our own, there was no hangers to hang your clothes, no extra pillows or blankets and the ones on the bed were super thin. I froze that night...I couldn't get the heat on fast enough. It's a suit with a full sized kitchen....but no cups plates pots pans or anything....it was like why have a kitchen. Are you expecting people to bring that stuff with them. The bathroom was tiny with no place to put any of your toiletries. The towels were small I had to use two and that barely covered my body, they were thin and hard and only 2 towels, 2 wash clothes, and 2 hand towles....we has 3 people staying in the room, they knew that when we made reservations. And asking for more towles was not fun....the lady kept on insisting that she came into our room and put them in there herself ...it was to the point that we had to raise our voice so she got the point. When she handed me the towles it was like she just pulled them out of a bag and not washed first. The little bottles of shampoo smelled like men's body wash...And made my hair feel dirty(I figured they would have good shampoo being a suit and all...lesson learned)...the soap bar was cheap and broke before I could even use it. If we had some place else that we could have gone to and didn't promise friends we would help them for the weekend we would have left. We have family getting married out in concrete and told the whole wedding party not to book here and the ones that did...canceled there reservations. It's not worth the 250.00 a night. On top of everything that went wrong with that place its...
Read moreNice place, room were good, the Korean family the runs the place seemed nice enough but they were always concerned you were going to rip off their towels. We rented the two bedroom suite and one single bedroom suite and mama san gives you exactly the amount of towels for the amount of people no extra's. We rented for two nights as we were attending a family reunion at the local state park. The two bedroom suite has decent kitchen has a stove and frig but almost very little cooking ware or table ware. We figured that we better check of what they had as we assumed it came with a fully equipped kitchen but we checked ahead of time and had to bring pretty much everything you need to cook. One strange thing that they do is that they unplug the frig when the room is empty and when you arrive you have to plug in the frig which we all know takes some time to cool down. The Koreans for some reason figure that small frig burns a bunch of power but they have no problem leaving on twice as many outdoor lights than necessary. So if you rent the two bedroom suite have them plug in the frig before you arrive. The Koreans must have come from the bad side of town as they trust no one and are almost paranoid. We were paying over $220,00 a night for the two bedroom suite and $150.00 for the single so I can't figure any clients that can pay that much would want to steal from them but in their minds even at those rates people want those inexpensive towels. One more thing I and the wife were staying in the single and our grown children and grandkids in the double, the first night were there mama san knocks on the door and say the air conditioner is making weird sound so shut it off. It was over 80 degrees that day so the room was not that cool, we ended up with no air conditioner the first night. I got on her pretty heavy the next day about that as I figured they would never get around to fixing it when I was there. They sent their son to repair which he did. I think the older couple is still learning American...
Read moreWe arrived 1+ hour prior to closing (according to the website). There were no lights on and no staff anywhere to be found. There were paper signs posted all over the management office window with many rules (too many to keep track of), where there was also a door bell for service. Once rang, an older lady came out of no where and started screaming at us immediately. We were stunned and flabbergasted - we have never had an encounter like this ever before. She proceeded to tell us to check our voicemail, which we had been driving 2+ hours with spotty service, so it did not ring and/or come through. Some other (nicer) staff member left a voicemail with some instructions in that voicemail we later found out. She then proceeded to demand details about our car, but since it was a rental car, we didn’t know the license plate number off the top of our heads. We again were stunned about her tone, and proceeded to get her the car details as fast as we could. Once we found the room after more weird instructions (rooms are not numbered like normal), we entered into a pretty spacious room. It was fairly clean but old, with stained carpeting and a sunken bed. There were also explicit signs all over the room about what not to do. One of the instructions/rules was to not go to the management office for check-out and to leave personal information on a piece of paper to leave in the room. We were not comfortable with leaving credit card details as they had that on file already so we wrote “on file”. The next day after we left the property we got an angry/petty text message stating that they didn’t need any payment details and they didn’t appreciate us saying “on file”. If you didn’t need it, why even send the message to us - we didn’t respond because what’s the point. They don’t care about customer service, because if you are in this area and need a place to stay, this is pretty much your only option. Stay at your own risk, glad...
